Can we mention other trends? In the UK the big news is that 90s boy band "Take That" member Gary Barlow has a MASSIVE son. The really funny thing is his son actually isn't abnormally tall (he's 6'2"), it's just that Gary is quite short. |

I'm off Twitter completely now.
I minimized my use to just mostly reading posts on my feed at the start of the year, just to stay caught up with the news accounts I follow.. And there was some people who I followed still on there.
But I just can't anymore after today. Logged out, deleted the app from all my devices.. I tried to nuke the account but their stupid password thing is glitchy as f***.. But OK fine… my posts are nothing worth persevering anyway.. Just gonna leave them until they are probably deleted in a inactive user purge anyway.

Also, given that I can count on one hand how many times I've used twitter, I'm okay with not trending haha.

I've been spending way more time on Twitter than I've cared to lately, mostly for sports. It's gotten to a point where I don't know who's a bot or not. Absolute cesspool of a site.

I'm pretty much done with Twitter at this point. Account is locked and I barely tweet there. Since the block break I've made Bluesky my primary place.

Meanwhile Elon bricked the blocking function so if you block more than a thousand people a day it logs you out until you clear your cache.

There's already dedicated block lists for, shall we say, problematic accounts that might ruin the vibes on Bluesky, and I've deployed it so well. |
