There was a time in the late 90s and early part of this century where many a wrestler was proud to show their tribal tattoos but most seem to have covered them up with another design since.
Which wrestlers still have the originals proudly on display?
I believe Goldberg still does.
Or just use this thread to appreciate your favourites.

Bobby Holly's last WWE match was in 2009 so he got his long after the trend's Gameboy Advance peak. Wonder if any others got theirs later.
I can see Scorpio Sky bringing them back into fashion.

At some point before he left WWE Saturn seemed to get his pretty rad tattoos covered up with a sort of psudeo-tribal/fantasy design: Before:  AFTER:  Since then he also added a pretty awful facial tribal tattoo. I know he was in a bad place during this time and apparently can't remember having it done, so no disrespect intended. I'm really glad to see that Perry has begun to resurface recently after years of losing touch with the business.  |

Both Scott Steiner and Bob Holly got covered in tribal wayyyy after it had gone out of fashion. Probably no coincidence that both rocked mullets way into the nineties too.

Perry never minded skirting that line, judging by some of his outfits when paired with Terri, or WCW when he wore the dress for a bit. I also want to say I've seen him with a belly button ring, too, but that may have been someone else. |
