Becky is in the middle of her prime and still as over as ever. And her run at the top really hasn’t been terribly long considering the large breaks she’s had. I think they should still push her at the top for the foreseeable future. Yeah, people always do this with women. No top guy who is 35 years old with barely a combined 3 years at main event level would be talked about like that. Hell, they would probably still be considered in the early days of their runs with probably a decade plus and multiple title runs ahead of them. Look at the amount of guys in WWE/AEW who are 15-20 year veterans with multiple world titles and years of main eventing under their belts and still constantly get fantasy booked into top spots (Rollins, Moxley, Reigns, Danielson, Omega, Lashley, Jericho, Styles, Sheamus, Wyatt). If you're a top star you're a top star. Just because you're a woman doesn't mean you have to be put out to pasture early. Right. If you start jobbing out your top female star left and right all you’re doing is weakening the credibility of the top star. Becky, Bianca and to a lesser extent Ronda and Charlotte are the top four and should be treated that way. Sasha comes back, she enters the same air as Becky and Bianca.

However at the same time prior to 2015 there was so little women pushed as mega stars. Only two were really Trish and Lita and both of them were done in their early 30's. So I guess it will hard to make an assessment about it until about five to eight years from now when we'll see if the likes of Becky, Charlotte, Sasha, Bayley, and Bianca are still wrestling when they start getting into their 40's.

One could argue we're already in uncharted waters in regards to women's longevity in WWE. Natalya, as much as she gets razzed for being stale, was the first woman to hit 500 televised matches in the company. Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks and Naomi are into the 300s (as was Alicia Fox somehow), while Becky Lynch, Bayley, Asuka and Tamina are well into the 200s (other to pass this mark in recent years are Mickie James, The Bella Twins and Layla). In terms of Attitude Era/Ruthless Aggression-era women, only a couple of them passed 200. According to Cagematch, Trish Stratus got to 235 and Victoria got to 218, but nobody else from that era really got close: Molly Holly: 160 Lita: 149 (injury affected) Ivory: 118 Jacqueline: 117 Torrie Wilson: 101 Chyna: 89 Jazz: 66 (injury affected) Stacy Keibler: 47

It started to a degree with Trish returning for a Wrestlemania match in 2011 and facing Charlotte at Summerslam plus Lita facing Becky this year. The Horsewomen though will probably all be legendary enough (they already are, let's be honest) that if they want to, they'll have the option of returning for whatever big shows they want once they step away full-time. The days of "eww, we can't have a female over the age of 40 in a key spot" I think are over.

It is kind of fascinating what they'll do with the Horsewomen if Sasha returns and they all want to stick around for years come.
Its not good for the division if they're on top for another 3, 5, 10 years and barely anyone else can get to their level. Even worse if they get to the stage they clearly can't go as they used to.
It doesn't really matter if say Drew or Lashley fall right down the card but those four women are the legends of their division, they're already part of the companies mythology. They'll be who they'll be making documentaries about, milking nostalgia appearances and using to help put over future stars so can't devalue them too much.

Sasha is a weird one because it does not feel like she’s gotten nearly as sustained of a run at the top as the other three.
Like Sasha’s one decently length title reign for example was nowhere near as long as what the other three have gotten.
And she’s bounced around on the card quite a lot as well.
Also she is younger than the other three by a least several years as well.

Absolutely, it's an underappreciated aspect of the current era that expectations for age have changed so much, and for the better. Trish and Lita both retired before they were 31, while if Charlotte had retired at that age, it would have been after WM 33, and for Becky it would have been before WM 34 and basically her entire run on top.

Which is good for her because she has gotten a shit ton of accolades but not the long runs for fans to really start to feel like she is long in the tooth Becky, Charlotte and Bayley all held the title way too long in their reigns. Charlotte is always the emergency champion and was in same boat as Sasha with losing the title fast before she got a decent run. Sasha did get a decent run and imo had the best outcome with losing to Bianca at Mania. Sasha problem is health and maybe attitude but this is another long absence for her for obvious reasons

I guess maybe because Sasha always come off as more of the alpha of the two but Bayley being three years older then her is something that's always surprised me.

She lost to Bianca like 5 straight times in title matches. Heck even in this stable she's putting people over as she's mentioned how the purpose of this stable was to elevate both Dakota & IYO.
