It could be photoshop, or it could be never noticing before, but Apollo has nice eyes. Let's hope one of his visions doesn't have Seth Rollins or The Corinthian in them.

I still don't understand how the last person in the match is going to have any chance to rack up enough of a pin count to win when the first 2 people had 15 minutes longer.
Why don't they just agree to pin each other like 30 times each so nobody else has a chance?

Why don't they just agree to pin each other like 30 times each so nobody else has a chance? That’s ostensibly what the penalty box gimmick is for. It’s a near one-minute turnaround between counting a fall, getting out of the ring, going into the box, time in the box, getting out and back into the ring. Why do we insist on picking holes in this? “What if the heel wrestler doesn’t want to listen to the referee and go into the box?”… Why does the heel wrestler listen to the referee any time in any match?

I believe in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter award winner for best booker and promoter of the year, "The HBK Kid" Sean Michaels.

Because a fragile house with a weak foundation must be torn down. Most stipulation matches aren’t completely water-tight if you think about it. Like, nothing stops anyone in the Royal Rumble from staying outside the ring the entire time instead of getting in it, so theoretically, all 30 people could do that and the referees would have to stand there and take it because they haven’t got an official rule for it. It’d make real-world logical sense, but it’d be theatrically dull and boring.

So all of the participants in the Men’s match are heels. And all but one in the women’s match are heels.
So logically faces should win these wildcard matches right?

One face and one heel. Therefore someone of the opposite alignment will probably win. That’s Perez in the women’s match and… well, anyone in the men’s one. Maybe Hayes since that’s who we’ve been begging to be the next top champion for months now.

Von Wagner is like my hometown hero after watching pandemic shows Like, real talk for a second... Dude's not that bad. He doesn't do much because his role as the midcard hoss doesn't necessitate him doing much, but it's not like he's botching shit all the time or anything. He just kinda looks a bit like a caveman and he had a bad first impression because they debuted him right into a title match on the first episode of the reboot.

However, he doesn't need to be in the match for one simple reason HE JUST LOST TO BRON! BACK OF THE LINE PAL! Seriously tho. I think if the book him more like a Sid/Ryback type do awesome shit and leave would work better for him now, but I get wanting to give him reps in longer matches as he is still only a couple years in, I think.

Most of Sid’s unintentionally hilarious promo stuff doesn’t start happening until his second WWF run, and he’s almost 10 years into his career at that point. The only other things I can think of from before then are how Hogan getting picked over him for the WM8 title shot (that neither of them actually ended up with) was the most bogus decision ever by Jack Tunney, and that one promo he cut around the same time covered in baby powder (aka the only other thing of note that ever happened on The Barber Shop).

Dude cut an intense promo in which he threatened Robocop. Also I love how Sid says he's 6'9" and 320 pounds and then a minute later Flair says he's 6'10" and 350 pounds. I guess Sid grew an inch and gained thirty pounds in that minute.
