Anyone else think Danhausen is healed up but doesn’t wanna deal with this right now? Well, he's not one of the people getting kicked off shows for being friends with the wrong people, so I don't think he really cares about it.

I've definitely readjusted my priors in the last few years to accept that sometimes, when WWE or any other promotion isn't pushing someone who seems like an obvious star, there might be something I don't know that matters more than the wrestler's talent. The story that stands out for me is how CM Punk said in the infamous Colt podcast how Slim Jim approached them about wanting Punk as their newspokesman and WWE countered with "you want Sheamus" before ultimately it being Big Show, Rey and Eve. Sheamus has proven to be a great commercial actor and an entertaining brand ambassador. His Cricket Wireless commercial is still the best Cricket spot they've done. There's an alternate timeline where Punk is the spokesman and is so awful to deal with that it nukes the entire long-tenured WWE-Slim Jim relationship like how Heyman's treatment of TNN poisoned wrestling off of cable for years and years. Minor correction, the Sheamus stuff was for the cover of the video game. Slim Jim WWE always pushed for it to be multiple wrestlers

I love that when you think the Punk saga has died down, there's some new hilarious nonsense. Punk banning people from the building will keep us going for a while

The Cultaholic boys are starting to report on both the Wembley show and AEW as a whole being drug through the mud because of all of this unnecessary drama and potential lack of planning due to it.

Speaking of hangman I wish he’d get another title run but with more pizazz behind it Same. I was thinking about it last night but Hangman’s still “The Guy” in AEW, I think. Not in the same sense of WWE, but he’s AEW’s protagonist. Think that might be what chaps at Phils ass too. He wants to be “The Guy” so bad, he’s not. Tk might have forgotten it but it’s Hangman. Always has been for AEW and probably always will.

I swear if MJF or Cole betrays the other. Or MJF wins and then Punk challenges him and wins the title, and it's presented as a conquering hero moment.

See, this is the stuff where if it's even slightly true , then Punk is just not worth the headache. I just can't fathom how the benefit in having Punk as the figurehead of the #11 show on cable on Saturday nights is worth disrupting the locker room as a whole.

According to Dave because of the network deal and wanting him for the Saturday show. He basically says (without saying) they’d rather have that than a healthy, functional roster lol Also, he said both Phil and The Elite are signed for “many, many, many years”. My hopeful ass thought Phil had a year left.

The first tweet is from yesterdays WOL show, the other one is from Seescops.(They were the ones that first reported Elite vs DarkOrder/Righteous being the original plan for the Elite iirc)

They will probably wait first for WBD to renew them, also the Torch said that Collision was 2nd place on Cable(idk how unless their sources are completely different than Spoilertv)
Mark Henry said Kenny signed for 4 years on Busted Open Radio yesterday.

Crowd: “WE WANT MIZ! WE WANT MIZ!” Punk: “Shut it down, shut this show down! We’re going home, Tony!! RIGHT NOW, SHOW’S OVER!! Ban all these fans from America!!” It's a brit crowd, so it'd have to be sung to the tune of some song. They're already workshopping. "look, Dave, all I'm saying is "spunk" is a) a bit on the nose for a rhyme for "C.M. Punk" and b) not really known as slang for "semen" across the pond. You have to take into account international sensibilities".

Hangman is truly AEW's ace, with maybe Moxley coming in 2nd.
Kenny Omega is truly an amazing wrestler and speaking strictly AS a wrestler, I think he's in GOAT-level contention. But Kenny excels at matches that are spectacles of the art form, and Adam Page excels at making you get invested in his character and wanting to see him succeed. They're different skills.
They've done a great job, somehow, of protecting Hangman's aura, too. He's a tough as nails cowboy brawler who works smart and who can do a little bit of everything move-wise, and he has a finisher that looks great and is treated like it could kill a cockroach.

Anyone else think Danhausen is healed up but doesn’t wanna deal with this right now? He's still dealing with a lot of pain as of a couple of weeks ago and would very much be in the "Pepsi Phil" corner besides, so not at all.
