Nobody who is an actual professional would attempt to fight someone backstage. Plus, we've seen Punk fight, he's not capable of winning one. As easy as it is to clown Punk, I’m sure he’s capable of beating a good majority of AEW wrestlers in a legit fight. He still trains MMA We've seen him in two fights. His training doesn't stick. He's either being fleeced by trainers or has some deeply rooted issue (egotistical or otherwise) that causes him to not grasp the simplest of fundamentals, even at a time when he'd put his sole focus and hundreds of thousands of dollars into it and had the world's eyes upon him. Twice. We haven't seen many, if any, of the rest of the roster in a fight so we have nothing to base their acumen on. All we know is they'd be fighting a 45-year-old with numerous body issues who we've seen look catastrophically bad twice. And not just by MMA standards, but by even barroom or back alley standards. |

Also let me put this out there too. Punk for things he's done he deserves a lot of flack and a lot of criticism, and I am fine with anybody saying he deserves more of a punishment.
But if the reports that Jack Perry instigated over that glass story especially after all the news that came out? Very idiotic move on Perry's side

I think we can all agree that the only fair just thing to do in this situation would be to suspend Jack Perry for three months without pay then bring him back with a massive push, his own show, and all of his unpaid backpay plus interest.

I have no problem if Jungle Ass gets suspended for this but TK REALLY needs to be consistent with his suspensions. lol

Another Fightful update CM Punk and Jack Perry had an altercation backstage at AEW All In. Details are few and far between at the moment, but we have learned that Jack Perry and CM Punk had an altercation shortly before CM Punk went to the ring for his AEW All In match. Jack Perry was on right before him, and did a spot on a car window, and said "it's real glass, cry me a river." This was a shot at Punk, who had a confrontation at an AEW Collision taping this Summer over Perry's insistence on using real glass for a spot on the show. We're told Perry wasn't happy with how the situation was relayed publicly by those close to Punk. We have learned at least one side of the story, which claims that Jack Perry approached CM Punk backstage and "stepped in his face" and "bumped" Punk. Punk was said to have then pushed Perry. Perry allegedly "came at Punk and got choked." We haven't heard of a particular kind of choke or who broke things up. Please note this is only one side of the story, and more details will emerge. We've reached out to both CM Punk and Jack Perry for their sides. We will follow up here with any additional details we learn Sounds more like Punk was the one to start shit. Eddie got suspended for the same reason.Again Punk is the only one to actually get physical. |

Sounds like Jack f'd around and found out. People are talking about Punk in UFC but it doesn't sound like he's had any trouble dealing with AEW folks backstage.

I get people don’t like Punk and he should have been disciplined for Brawl Out, but between the stupid comment on the pre-show and doing this backstage, that’s enough to put this one on Jack. |

Everyone knows I hate Punk and I consider him scum that shouldn't have been brought back after Brawl Out. I also refuse to watch anything he's in.

Sounds like this one's on Perry. Its on both really, yeh jack bumped, but then Punk pushed him and its unclear then who got physical first, but both man instigated it. |
