Jack went up to Punk, caused the entire problem, and is the entire reason Punk even retaliated at all This is Jack Perry's fault, he could have literally not done any of those things, Punk was literally sitting by himself Stop making me defend Punk man lmfao are we going ignore Punk sent to the news that Perry was throwing a hissy fit over a spot? Jack Perry wanting real broken glass in a spot was so f***ing stupid though. |

The amount of reach some folks are going to in order to try to blame this one on Punk is absolutely amazing. He was the one to bring Jack's into the dirty first? he absolutely has blame to take in this too regardless if you dont think him pushing Jack is not having blame. That's like blaming the Bucks for starting the fight against Punk at Brawl Out because they walked into his locker room and fought back when Punk started throwing hands.
That's the literal "The Elite were actually wrong!" logic.

If nothing else, where Perry is wrong is doing this right before Punk's match. Again, Punk deserves a lot of flak. I don't think anybody doubts that, but time and place. After all of this, what sucks for Jack is he probably going to be made an example out of Trying to out politic Punk is insane. Like if Alex Wright tried to fight Hogan before the main event of Halloween Havoc 97 |

Yeah again, if this is all true, Punk being an asshat does not excuse Jack Perry from what he did. Doesn't mean Punk doesn't deserve criticism for a lot of things he openly has done, but Jack acting after a report from a couple weeks ago is on him... again if this is all accurate

If we got another NEWZ all we would get is a bunch of contracting news. |

*At All In, it immediately leaks to the same wrestling media that Perry attacked Punk who was just minding his own business. And that Punk easily kicked his ass for good measure.*

CM Punk and Jack Perry had an altercation backstage at AEW All In.
Details are few and far between at the moment, but we have learned that Jack Perry and CM Punk had an altercation shortly before CM Punk went to the ring for his AEW All In match. Jack Perry was on right before him, and did a spot on a car window, and said "it's real glass, cry me a river." This was a shot at Punk, who had a confrontation at an AEW Collision taping this Summer over Perry's insistence on using real glass for a spot on the show. We're told Perry wasn't happy with how the situation was relayed publicly by those close to Punk.
We have learned at least one side of the story, which claims that Jack Perry approached CM Punk backstage and "stepped in his face" and "bumped" Punk. Punk was said to have then pushed Perry. Perry allegedly "came at Punk and got choked." We haven't heard of a particular kind of choke or who broke things up. Please note this is only one side of the story, and more details will emerge.
