Who are Realistic Surprise Rumble Entries in 2023?

(Ignore NXT for a moment. There were no NXT surprises this year, but HHH may well add some to the upcoming Rumbles.)

How do we think are realistic potential surprise entrants for the men and womens 2023 Royal Rumble matches? (Which are 56 days away and Kofi is already announced for the mens)

Some people are a bit injured (Logan Paul) or AEW contracted (Bryan, Ruby, etc) or were too whacked,then sacked(Shane). But that still leaves possiblities.

Me? I've been waiting forever for a Steve Blackman or Ken Shamrock rumble appearance.

Cody, if you count him as a surprise because of injury.

She's been appearing a lot on TV but with age and such so not positive on her current condition, but perhaps Alundra Blayze for the women? She was in a battle royal at WWE Evolution back in 2018, and while yes that is 4 years difference and she is pushing towards 60 I'm sure they could have a way for her to get in there for a brief spot just to have her name in the books.

Wouldn't mind seeing if they could talk Wendi Richter into appearing too but that's WAY less likely for 1)not appearing on WWE TV in a while and 2)Her last match, a 6 woman tag, being in 2005 from what quick Wikipedia research can gather.

Probably Bad Bunny. Maybe Jake Paul. Wouldn’t be surprised to see someone like Nate Diaz getting a random entry. Other than that Kane. It’s always Kane.

For the women probably Charlotte makes her return as well. Maybe a Kairi entry since H is in charge and seems more willing to work with other promotions.

Is Muta/Muto capable of taking a bump over the top rope? If so I can maybe see him making an appearance in exchange for the Nakamura match.

It would never have happened with Vince but I also wonder if it's now possible we get a one-night appearance from a NJPW guy in the deal they worked out with Anderson/Gallows.

I'm not sure why this hasn't happened in the past 5-10 years. He's in decent shape, still wrestles occasionally, would get a good pop and is obviously on good terms with the company. A Rumble appearance seems like a no-brainer. Maybe this will finally be the year.

I was thinking The Hurricane. Would also love to see Riccardo Rodriguez. His last Rumble entry was great.
