Establishing that a fellow pillar potentially has MJF's number could be a good way to plant a seed that might grow into something in the future.

That being said, how nice would it be for FTR if they didn't have to carry around all those belts, and instead just had the rings to flash around?

There's definitely going to be a tease of Shawn Dean winning the battle royale as he has two wins over MJF. We'll conveniently ignore how he got those wins, however.

Maybe I misunderstood, but didn't they say the winner faces MJF for the ring? That MJF had a bye to the final? I don't see any instance where MJF loses a match at this point.

I know it was because of a legal dispute, but it was kind of fun when Cody was ROH's world champion and had a literal Ring of Honor to represent that for a time.

Really liked it when Cody wore the ring.

It became a great juxtaposition of honor and arrogance. He wore his title on the hand he used to uphold the "code of honor."

I think it should go to Ethan or Ricky, but I'm also kind of ready for the ring to go away. It had value when there weren't a ton of titles around, but I think it's outlived its usefulness.
