It's like if you were in a locker room consisting of 90s WWF/WCW guys who end up backstabbing and politicking with management and the most behaved person in the room is 1997 Shawn Michaels who decides to not do any of that. It makes no sense.

I can never keep up with Lucha libre and their names, but I assume from the tiny trogdoors that Dralistico is the former Dragon Lee?

I can never keep up with Lucha libre and their names, but I assume from the tiny trogdoors that Dralistico is the former Dragon Lee? A former Dragon Lee, but not the very well hailed and beloved Dragon Lee, who is his and Rush's brother. Dralistico is better known as the second Mistico, the first of whom became Sin Cara in WWE. When Dralistico left CMLL, he ceded the Mistico name and mask back to the original--who he also became the tag partner of when Mistico 1 went by Caristico--to instead go by Dralistico, owing to two different legacy names held by dudes he's associated with. So he's Dragon Lee and Mistico, but not the notable Dragon Lee or the Mistico infamous to American fans. Because lucha libre.

At any rate here's some recent Dralistico matches against AEW guys
He's not a high flying savant like his younger brother and he doesn't exude raw presence like his older brother, but he's still a real solid wrestler to add on to the group.

Reading that made my head hurt... Honestly, feels like 95% of luchadores have this same sort of backstory because of the jumping ship that regularly happens.

Only in Mexico can a guy make a gimmick based off of two gimmicks he was but two guys were more known for it than he was...
Dralistico's a good wrestler too btw from what I've seen, it's just funny

If I've got this right, he also was a Mistico, but not any of the heretofore mentioned Misticos. Then later he was Sin Cara, but not the Sin Cara who was the other Mistico (who is now the sole Mistico) Also, he went Incognito for a bit. His filmography on his wikipedia page includes Scooby-Doo! WrestleMania Mystery as "himself" but "unvoiced", which is just silly

Btw, what's the original Sin Cara up to these days? Wikipedia covers the whole of his 2015-22 in just a few paragraphs. Has he lost a lot of relevancy in Mexico or is he still a major star?
It's crazy how far he seems to have fell. In the mid-late 2000s Mistico was up there with John Cena as the top drawing wrestler in the world and now you never hear about him despite the fact he isn't even 40 yet.
