Technically, it's the stitched-up remains of multiple corpses, so it's closer to a golem than a traditional zombie.

Depending on how you define him, Frankenstein's Monster could be seen as a zombie, golem, or homunculus.

Technically he’s parts of different corpses. If a corpse is a dead body…he’s not that. He’s a new entity created by the pieces of corpses. It can’t be brought back to life…it’s never existed in that form before. It can be given life and exist for the first time.
Dr. Frankenstein doesn’t bring a corpse back to life. He creates new life. And a new type of life at that.

Everyone here is wrong.
He's a biological robot piloted by a zombie spider.

Frankenstein is actually the modern Pygmalion while his monster is the modern Galatea. So he is more like the mannequin from "Mannequin" (1987).

He's an undead construct, not a zombie.

You could argue he's multiple zombies.

Wonder if his Frankendong works. If not the original, the grandson's creation does. Just ask the ladies after they sing "Oh Sweet Mystery of Life". *Walks off humming "Putting On The Ritz".

"Gothic Mall Cop" with constable Bailey kicked out of the constable academy to fight Frankenstein's mannequins only to be rescued by the academy's constable students is a license to print nothing.

On that note, what is Frankenweenie? Is he a rescue or an entirely new dog?
