Can he go away? I mean, it feels like his mid-life crisis has been going on for ages, and I know there are people who will go "he's still great in the ring", and true but... can we just take a long break from anything Jericho?

He had one of the best runs he's ever had in his entire career this past year, and that includes some outstanding matches with the ROH title.
Forgive me if I'm not on the "Can he just go away?" train. He's not going through a "Mid Life crisis", he's constantly been able to stay over, reinvent, and show out. I want to see what he's going to do next, and I'm not dreading it whatsoever. Because eventually, Jericho will hang it up and he will just be done, forever, in ring. I wanna enjoy it while I can tbh, especially when he's still producing at this crazy of a level.

Dude doesn't need to go away, but a bit of time away to recharge the batteries would do him wonders after one his greatest runs of his career.

I feel like him dropping it is them AEW distancing itself from ROH, but I really did want Garcia chasing Jericho for the belt to restore Honor to ROH.

You're entitled to your opinion just as I am as entitled to my own. Jericho's probably not going away though. And he shouldn't, crowds and ratings have given him no reason to. If he needs one to refresh and recover he definitely should, but Jericho's done a lot for AEW, and I'm very interested in what he does next.

I am def tired of him. Won't say go away forever but he def needs a break and something new
He can still produce at a high level but his feuds tend to go way too long and hopefully with him putting over Claudio he attaches on to something else

Tapping to the swing is some glorious karmic retribution.

His run as ROH champ has been one of only two things I've really enjoyed about Khan buying ROH (the other is Dalton Castle on my TV). Jericho has killed it the last few months.
That said, I think he can only benefit from a little time away. Give him a rest now things in AEW have settled again.

He should be used to put over the next generation. Give him a big PPV loss to Starks to really cement him as a main event player.

There are people who agree but have no interest in dealing with some of the more passionate shall we say fans. Jericho has been a channel changer for me since the MJF stuff

Tapping to the swing is some glorious karmic retribution. The crowd shouting "OCHO!" when Castagnoli got to the eight spin of the Swing made it all the more better.

Jericho is hit and miss for me. Capable of being entertaining but his reinventions are very inconsistent and the loss to Claudio (while appreciated) doesn't entirely make up for how monotonous his constant wins in the past year have been.
At the very least I'd like to see him away from a stable for a while and just be a singles competitor without flunkies.

He just signed another long term deal a few months ago, is a locker room leader, and doing even more behind-the-scenes stuff in an official capacity.
Hate to disappoint you, but he's not going away anytime soon. But you can count on him disappearing for a few weeks here and there to go on tour with his band.

I hope whatever they do with him next is short and sweet
A lot of the stuff he's involved with starts out strong/has good moments but just seemingly goes on forever
