I started a YouTube Channel this year where I review movies and make other movie related content. š½ļøšæšš
Here are my Top 10 Movies of 2022.
Does anyone else have a top 5 or top 10 Movies of the year? Were there any in my list you have seen, haven't seen, or maybe never even heard of?

I didn't see a ton of movies this year, but I very much enjoyed The Batman and Del Toro's Pinocchio.
Bullettrain, on the other hand, ughhhh.
I do still really need to see Everything Everywhere All At Once and Glass Onion.

Everything everywhere all at once is IMO the best movie of the year.
The NorthMan The Batman Barbarian Terrifier 2
would round out my top 5 for the year...with things like The Menu , Amsterdam , Black Phone in the top 10.

Glass Onion, The Batman, Nope, Everything Everywhere All At Once, Turning Red, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Top Gun Maverick, Bad Guys and The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent were all fun.
Baz Luhrmannās Elvis isnāt going to be for everyone, but I like his wacky directing style.
I still need to see Bodies Bodies Bodies.

It looks like my final tally on new releases I saw in 2022 came to 54. Looking over the list I'd say my Top 10 would be (in order of when I saw them) You Are Not My Mother The Batman The Northman Red Rocket Everything, Everywhere, All At Once RRR Nope The Banshees of Inisherin Barbarian Violent Night I think this is the first year that I've had two Irish movies make my Top 10 with You Are Not My Mother and Banshees of Inisherin. I always find it interesting seeing the trends that pop up in the movies I see in a given year. For instance in 2022 there were two separate movies where the plot involved a woman posing as a child that had been missing, integrating herself into the family pretending to be the kid and then proceeding to try and seduce the father. That scenario happened TWICE this year in {Spoiler}Titane and Orphan: First Kill Almost as weird as in 2017 where there were two Channing Tatum movies where the song Take Me Home, Country Roads is sung by a supporting character in a pivotal scene.

Haven't watched a lot of movies, but I want to give a shout out to Adam Sandler's "Hustle." Although it wasn't one of those rare atypical critically acclaimed Sandler performances like Uncut Gems, It's not your typical cookie cutter Happy Madison flick. Very enjoyable if your a sports fan.

By my count I've seen just twelve movies released this year. In order of how much I liked or disliked them: - The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent
- The Northman
- Bullet Train
- The Batman
- Thor: Love and Thunder
- Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness
- Sonic 2
- Prey
- Clerks III
- Jurassic World Dominion
- Black Adam
- Moonfall
There's a massive drop off between the first nine and the last three.

Itās superior in every way that isnāt cheeseball 80s nostalgia.
