I'm starting to feel that Sami wins the rumble. But instead of challenging at Wrestlemania, he wants the title match one month earlier in his HOME TOWN. If there was anyway to solidify that Vince was back in controll of creative then that would be exactly how it plays out. Sami gets the feel good moment of winning the rumble Challenges Roman not at Mania but at elimination chamber and loses Goes onto challenge for the tag titles at Mania instead Rock swoops in and gets title shot because he is The Rock That is the way to piss away not only the rumble winner but Sami's entire momentum and story and ensure the Mania mainevent gets throughly shit on.

So how do ppl get eliminated Isn't it by being pinned? Honestly I don't know why US wrestling never uses the Japanese rules for battle royals where pins and submissions also can work for eliminations in addition to the over the top rope eliminations.

Right now my gut is saying Raquel wins the women's Rumble and that Cody loses the men's, no idea who wins men's but I feel like it'd be a very WWE booking thing to have all this hype behind Cody, put him front and center in the Rumble graphic, then have him lose for those juicy shocked fans in the crowd reaction shots.

I kinda like Byron in these interview segments sometimes now, him flinching at the end and saying ''why does she always do that?'' was good.

Updated
MENS QUALIFIED – Kofi Kingston, Santos Escobar, Ricochet, Austin Theory, Seth Rollins, Lashley, Baron Corbin, Rey Mysterio, GUNTHER, Cody Rhodes, Omos, Karrion Kross, Sheamus, Drew McIntyre, Braun Strowman LIKELY IN –Bronson Reed, Dominik, Edge, Balor, Butch, Nakamura, Ridge, Ziggler POSSIBLY IN – Street Profits, Brock, Gable/Otis, Damien Priest, Miz, Imperium, Gargano (injury doubt), Solo Sikoa/Sami Zayn OUTSIDERS- Tozawa, Cedric/Shelton, Dexter Lumis, Anderson/Gallows, Ali, Angel Garza, Legado, Vikings, Usos, Jinder, Maxim Models, Xavier Woods, Hit Row, Madcap Moss, Elias INJURED – AJ Styles, Logan Paul, Matt Riddle (rehab), Randy Orton, Robert Roode, R-Truth, Ciampa, Big E, Rick Boogs
Sami and Solo move to the Possibly list as the Bloodline segment seems to suggest they'll be involved in the title match and not the Rumble. 15 names confirmed, 15 to go.
GUT FEELING - Bronson, Edge, Balor, Butch/Ridge, Ziggler, Miz, Brock, Profits, Gable, Otis, one injury return, 2 surprises
WOMENS QUALFIED – Liv Morgan, Candice LeRae, Rhea Ripley, Raquel, Emma, Shayna Baszler, Zelina Vega LIKELY IN – Asuka, Bayley, Becky, Dakota, Dana, Iyo Sky, Mia Yim, Nikki Cross, Lacey, Shotzi, Tegan, Xia Li POSSIBLY IN – Tamina (barely appears) OUTLIERS – B-Fab, Scarlett, Valhalla INJURED – Carmella, Doudrop, Aliyah, Natalya
Sonya is getting murdered at the Rumble by Charlotte so she's off the list for now. Emma is making her Rumble debut and Zelina is back in it, despite not wrestling of late. This leaves 23 spots. Even bring back the entire female roster and Carmella/Doudrop/Natalya/Aliyah from injury, and put Scarlett, B-Fab and Valhalla in there for the hell of it and you're still only at 27.
GUT FEELING - All of the above, minus B-Fab/Vahalla/Scarlett, and 2 of the injured list. So that's 22. Add Toxic Attraction/Roxanne/Alba and 4 surprises.
No idea why they haven't announced Becky, Damage Control, etc for the Rumble yet tbh.
Other matches – Reigns/Kevin Owens, Bianca vs Alexa, Charlotte vs Sonya (?), Bray v LA Knight, if Usos are solely involved in the Reigns/Owens match, maybe some number 1 contender tag match to free up Profits/Imperium etc.

Man, every title match (assuming we get Charlotte versus Sonya) is a foregone conclusion.

Looking forward to the Rumble matches and KO vs. Roman mostly from a storyline perspective.
The rest of the show not so much, but it might be better than anticipated or at least better than last years.

Man, every title match (assuming we get Charlotte versus Sonya) is a foregone conclusion. There’s only two title matches right now. Charlotte could be a 3rd. The Reigns-Owens match will be interesting more for what happens with Zayn. I think there’s an outside chance of Bliss winning too, with shenanigans. And then Belair winning the Rumble or otherwise challenging Charlotte at Mania.

Kind of thinking Rick Boogs is going to end up being a surprise entrant. He's been gone for a long while, there's been some chatter he might be back soon, and he's in a position where he'd probably get a pretty good pop if he returned in the Rumble but isn't really big enough for you to actually hype up being back.

I want so badly to see Waltman (as 123 Kid or X-Pac) and Michaels in this Rumble. HBK because it's in San Antonio, and it is probably his last chance to have a better last match than Crown Jewel, and Waltman because it has been a full 20 years since his last WWE match. He never got that big nostalgic comeback, and the Rumble is perfect for these kinds of things.

Though to really throw everyone off, he comes out as Syxx, complete with nWo music.

I’m thinking that the women’s winner is either going to be Raquel or(probably more likely) Bianca after Alexa uses her mysterious VOODOO to take the title from her earlier in the night. I don’t see either Rumble kicking off the show for reasons such as that, so they’ll probably do them almost back to back and make them a chore to get through.

In the moment I'm thinking Rhea wins the women's Rumble but if Alexa beats Bianca then my prediction immediately goes to Bianca winning it.

Rhea and Cody winning both seem a little too obvious however I don’t think either one is a bad choice at all and I think the crowd would go home happy. Liv and Zayn might be the only other options that would make the arena erupt.

For some reason they always introduce him out to the DX theme 2006-Current They never give him the X-Pac solo theme. It's like they lost a license or something to it. But yes, Waltman NEEDS one more crowd pop. Do it like Diesel 2011.

I've been pitching this up and down and suggesting it to tie in to Roman's "final test" that he laid out for Sami, telling him to not enter the Rumble for the "best interests" of the family and instead help him with KO.
