Pluto TV & Tubi is definitely the best, then Roku Channel, FreeVee. Don't forget Pluto has an on demand section either.
Crackle is pretty much at the bottom now,a shame since it was one of the first free streaming app and was good those first few years.
Also don't forget Youtube has a section of free shows & movies now too.

Pluto TV
Unsolved Mysteries Rescue 9/11 Buzzr (Super Password, Classic Concentration) Sitcom Classics (Cheers and Frasier) Comedy Central Animation (South Park, Beavis and Butt-Head) Star Trek TNG Star Trek DS9 Stargate SG1 Classic TNA MST3K Rifftrax The Joy of Painting with Bob Ross Garfield and Friends
Along with Kanopy, where there's a ton of old classic movies, I've pleaded with my spouse to cancel things like Netflix, Prime and Hulu, but to no avail yet. I honestly do not care one bit for new content.

I am usually reluctant to watch Tubi or Pluto TV because of the ads. Sometimes I'll do it, but it depends. I remember binging on Cybil on Tubi in the past.

I spend more time than I should browsing the stuff I’m paying for deciding what to watch. Don’t need to add free channels to the mix.
