Karl Anderson singles run in WWE?

He seems like a big deal over in Japan. And he can work. So how come the WWE fails to see the value of him doing a solo run with the company?

He could fit in the IC and US title scenes.

I mean you can give it a shot but I just don't think he's that great at this stage and won't offer much. But he can be a jobber to the stars like Ziggler I guess who has a little credibility and loses on TV most of the time.

I think saying he can go is overstating it a tad. He's been coasting on his G1 performance from 8.5 years ago because of the Okada/Naito matches on this reputation and really it doesn't fit at all anymore. He's also 43 and just kinda there.

I don't see it working in WWE personally, outside of a feud with Gallows and Styles I don't really see anywhere he could go personally.

I think Karl Anderson might quite possibly the most vanilla non descript looking wrestler I've ever seen. It's not even like your typical "vanilla midget" case where he has no personality because I think he does and he's shown it at times. It's just look wise he screams jobber. Therefore I couldn't see him getting far as a singles. As far as WWE goes he's always going to be a tag team specialist.

Every few generations you get a guy who isn't all that great but he gets carried by literally some of the best workers of the day and that lets them coast for a long time on the idea they were actually always good when they just got hauled to great matches by people who only have bad matches when something is wrong
