As a personal challenge for this month I am on a loose version of the diet Dwayne Johnson followed for the movie Hercules. He famously ate six meals of steak, chicken, fish, rice, steamed broccoli and asparagus, baked potatoes, and egg whites for six straight months. I am not consuming anywhere near the volume he did, and I am skid cutting out the carbs. The area of biggest deviation is the fish; while he ate halibut twice a day, it’s expensive and not commonly found at my local stores, so I am substituting pretty well whatever fish is affordable s as I’d available; tuna, salmon, tilapia, even shellfish. This is all washed down with water or flavored seltzer. After the first week I won’t deny I’m having cravings and have been acted grouchy for it, but my energy levels are fine I’m not suffering any digestive problems. This is primarily a test of personal discipline to prove to myself I can do it, as I do not work out at the kind of level that would transform my body in any significant way. I am looking very forward to my own epic chest day once this is completed.

You need more pie in that diet to truly be a Rock diet.

Don’t forget to do a cycle or two
Im with Rogan on this, The Rock can preach fish and rice all he wants, but he’s juiced to the nines. Following his diet and workout routine for 6 months will get you gains, but it will cost you a ton of money and you still won’t look like The Rock

I did this three or four years ago when I first heard of it. I took bowling ball solid dumps that were like giving birth for the first week.
Eventually the food was just too much to maintain and the exercise to keep up with it was a challenge I couldn’t maintain.

I will go back k to more regular low carb in February, looking forward to using seasonings and marinades and sauces again.

Joe Rogan is an ass clown But he’s right about the roids Rock is def on some shit; whatever "high-end vitamins" or whatever you want to call it I just didn't get his reason for even calling him out saying he needed to tell the truth. The Liver King stuff had nothing to do with him. He doesn't make his living by selling people on fitness like Liver King

As it has to do with many to most Marvel and DC actors who suddenly turn up super jacked, yet claim they did it by eating more bland food than pro bodybuilders and training twice a day. It is ok to not tell the truth. It is not ok to lie when it can and will affect the health of people trying to copy their routines.
The Rock's diet seems stock full of protein, but is their any good source of fat? Are you allowed to cook with oil?

Far as I can tell, The Rock isn't selling anyone supplements or a fitness plan using false advertising. The Liver King was. The Rock using whatever he chooses to use is his business, and especially it being his MEDICAL business, is none of ours.

Yeah, I did the six-meals a day, lift weights thing once in my life: you absolutely get results but I hated it, f***ing hated it. Found it exhausting. God bless dudes that can do it lol. Yeah, the mentality is that these actors are putting out the image of “CLANGING & BANGING” and “chicken and rice”, and are of course unable to acknowledge the elephant in the room due to sponsors, who’s paying the checks etc.. This puts out an image that’s inaccurate. One would hope most people have this figured out.

I wish you well in your journey, but as a bodybuilder I will say the Rock can eat a much higher volume of food than the regular person, because he works out so much and is burning a ton of calories

Who are they lying to tho? They aren’t selling supplements or telling you to do this to get this body. They tell you they to have to do a lot to T work to get that body and keep it. They aren’t selling you on anything.as soon as he starts selling supplements then he can come clean but until then it’s nobody else business

It’s also about my blood pressure, cholesterol, and immune system.
