Just catching up…. I like to think Heyman sits in whenever Roman is having ‘issues’ with his wife lol   She just doesn't get me Pauline, a man needs his daily dose of Teletubbies! How can I rest without knowing that they get it again and again? Paul: Er...My Tribal Chief...I'm not Pauline...It's just Paul... Roman goes silent. Paul: (Voice trembling) er...Tribal Chief? Here are my Smackdown Thoughts:
I love Sami Zayn. He gets more hilarious every week.
Very classy for Michael Cole to mention Jay Briscoe prior to the Tag Tournament Match. Also, I love that The Viking Raiders had Dem Boys Armbands on.
I like that all 4 1st Round Matches of the Smackdown Tag Team Title 1 Contender's Tournament will take place tonight. I hope my dream comes true & the Finals will be The Banger Bros VS The Brawling Brutes. That will be awesome.
Drew McIntyre & Sheamus VS The Viking Raiders was an incredible hard-hitting match.
Uh oh, Roman Reigns is getting mad at Sami Zayn. Let's start the dissension now. I love Paul Heyman's reactions to Zayn.
Damn, it's official. Hulk Hogan will be on Raw Monday. I'm excited to see all of the legends except for the Sexual Predator
Ric Flair & the racist Hogan.
Solid promo by Raquel Rodriguez, but why are only 4 women announced for the Royal Rumble? It's next week. Announce the rest of the participants already. Last year, they announced everyone including the legends.
It was good to see LA Knight in action as it was his 1st match on Smackdown since he defeated Ricochet on October 28. I get why they did it, but it was stupid that it was an enhancement match. At least use someone on the roster. Now, I have to have Frank Jones on my list for the rest of the year.
Fun return of The Firefly Funhouse with Bray Wyatt & all of the characters. I never liked the Funhouse segments, but this was great. I love Uncle Howdy interrupting it & Bray changing.
Los Lotharios VS Hit Row was not good at all. LOL. Dolla can't even rip up a sign.
Awesome video again with Cody Rhodes. I can't wait to see him back in action at the Royal Rumble. Like I said Monday, I'm glad that they didn't save his return as a surprise as we all knew he was going to return. Now, we just have to anticipate when he enters.
Decent promo by Charlotte Flair & good response by Sonya Deville to continue the build to their next match whenever Adam Pearce makes it.

I hope Lacey Evans returns at the Royal Rumble, gets booed out of the building, & then gets eliminated Bushwhacker Luke style.
The Brawling Brutes VS Imperium was a fun match but I was disappointed by the finish. I wanted Drew & Sheamus VS Butch & Ridge.
When Paul Heyman told Sami Zayn, that Roman Reigns wanted to see him, Sami looked like he was being called to the Principal's Office.
Cool. Raw Video on Smackdown. I actually got goosebumps. So many iconic moments even with the showing of people that I lost all respect for. They still are part of history. Also, it was cool that they showed wrestlers that are now in AEW.
I love that they added more Legends with Triple H, DDP, The Godfather, Jimmy Hart, Ted DiBiase, IRS, & Alundra Blayze.
Yes, Zelina Vega will be in the Rumble. That's 6 for the Women's Match.
Legado Del Fantasma VS Maximum Male Models was pretty good. LDF VS Imperium will be a fun Semi-Final Match next week. McIntyre & Sheamus VS Hit Row could be good.
Good, Sami Zayn & Roman Reigns worked out their issues. I love Paul Heyman's reaction in the background.
I forgot to comment on Karrion Kross' segment earlier. It was OK. Next week's Smackdown looks great. They should have the Royal Rumble Participants selecting their numbers or do a Qualifying Battle Royal with the wrestlers that aren't in it.
I think that was the shortest Contract Signing in WWE History. I love Kevin Owens coming from out of nowhere to lay out The Bloodline and then signing the Contract. But Roman didn't sign the contract, so their match isn't official. I love Sami coming out after Owens laid everyone out.

Ends a fun Smackdown. I like the focus on the Tag Team Division but I wish there was more than 1 Women's Segment tonight, not counting the quick promo by Shayna Baszler. The best part of the show was the closing angle. I can't wait for the Royal Rumble next week.

An ok episode of SmackDown, great start with Sheamus/Mcintyre v Viking Raiders. Contract signing was at least short and at least Roman FINALLY got a little bit of a set-back at least.
No women's matches was a bit disappointing but it is what it is.

It’s good to hear of another generation enjoying the Teletubbies 😀 I got the dvd of the Teletubbies YEARS ago for my Nephew Jack when he was a toddler (22 years ago now...Jeez time flies by) so I took it when my Sister found it when she was spring cleaning around the time Peter was born and Leanne and I have just kept it ever since. We'll be getting rid of it as soon as the girls grow out of it though lol (FINALLY lol). |

It’s good to hear of another generation enjoying the Teletubbies 😀 I got the dvd of the Teletubbies YEARS ago for my Nephew Jack when he was a toddler (22 years ago now...Jeez time flies by) so I took it when my Sister found it when she was spring cleaning around the time Peter was born and Leanne and I have just kept it ever since. We'll be getting rid of it as soon as the girls grow out of it though lol (FINALLY lol).  I watched it first with my nieces in the 90’s, then got my daughter into it. Lately I have been watching it with my great nephews 😀 glad I have kept the teletubby toys all these years so they can play with them now 🥰 |
