I know we have had many posts about Ric’s last match and how bad of an idea it was, but consider this.
HHH has a pacemaker in his chest due to his major heart scare that he had and that caused him to permanently retire WITH NO chance of coming back. Yet Ric thought it was a good idea to wrestle again with one.
No I know that Ric doesn’t know when to stop and he wastes money like there’s no tomorrow while HHH knew ahead of time when to stop and hopefully will teach Vince some lessons on how to book a wrestling show in 2023 but Ric should take a lesson from HHH and retire. Like I said in another message, NO ONE wants to see him die.

Triple H cares about his remaining friends and family, and his opponent(s) and their mental health, along with anyone who would have seen him die in the ring.
On this, he and Ric could hardly be more different.

Triple H has a lot more going on for him. He's the anti-Randy The Ram. Flair is a carbon-copy.

I wish everyone would taken the Ricky Steamboat approach and refused to work the match with Flair. HHH is smarter with both his money and knowing that his family and fans wouldn't want him to die in the ring. He said that himself which as it should be because I would never want to see my kids or my wife watch me die in the ring. Flair didn't think about that. We lucky it made it through it and barely. Flair just doesn't really care about anybody else but himself in a lot of ways.

I think Trips has a defib in his heart which is far different than a pacemaker. A pacemaker is small measured doses to keep your heart in rythym , a defib hits you with a huge shock to get your heart back in line when it goes wrong. Itt can even go of off it detects a heart that it thinks is in destress though it is just outside it's normal function. Basically Hunter could take a basic bump and catch a massive shock to the heart, potentially killing him, while Ric would be at risk of damaging his set up.

Ric openly doesn't save, and even with his podcasting, he likes to try to get attention saying stupid shit to keep his name out there. If it was just about money, I'm sure he could survive on hand-outs from Conrad, but he needs both money and attention, the latter in part to get more money.

Ric Flair literally has nothing left to live for and wants to die in the ring because he thought The Wrestler had a happy ending. and all his enablers are happy to keep paying him to do so until he actually does and they'll all suddenly realize what a shitty thing it is to want to do that and/or see that.

"Can the performer shoot survive the match?!" should not be an attraction for any show.

He’s pretty much running the wwe or has had a high role for the last 12 or so years, so I’m sure his lifetime earnings would be way more than flair. But regardless Flair still makes more money than the majority and should of used it better

I've never been a big Triple H fan, but in his association with Flair, he clearly learned all the good lessons, and learned from all the bad ones.

I'm not so sure about that. If Flair died on a show Conrad promoted, I'd bet real American dollars that he'd have an "RIP Nature Boy" shirt ready and waiting to shill on his podcast the next day.

Yeah, just look into what Conrad's day job consists of and ask yourself how much of a conscious he has.

Flair is utter garbage. I don't really care what he does.
If wrestlers don't want to see him die, don't wrestle him.
If fans don't want to see him die, don't buy tickets to watch him kill himself.
Otherwise, deal with it because he's going to do what he wants.

I think as long as Ric is able to drink, go to bars, act like he loves the woman he's with but probably has another on the side, he will live a long life. He will probably live to 80-85 or even 90.
Even if he gets in the ring a few more times I can't see him dying, he's too egotistical to do a match that will be where he dies. He wants to see himself being talked about. If he dies, he can't enjoy seeing the news. The wrestler movie aside, he's not a guy having to work at Giant or Food Lion wherever. He's a guy who can have any number of people helping him financially from Conrad to HHH to so many others. All he probably wants is attention, women, alcohol and the ability to live the celebrity lifestyle. He can't do that if he dies so he will "will" himself to do so.

I worked at a Food Lion for 5 years. Dying in the ring might have been preferable.
