I thought it was decent. Way better than last year's, at least.
Dom was the MVP, for me!! That spot between Logan Paul and Richochet was sick. Cody winning at 30 was sketchy and needs investigating. Thought Cody and Gunther went too long considering everyone knew who was winning. Can't remember anything else.

Men’s rumble was great from beginning to end, but I agree with the sentiment that Cody should’ve entered earlier instead of 30. Maybe have him be 20-25. Logan Paul could’ve been 30.
Women’s started slow but picked up around a third of the way and was solid after that. The ending was super creative and an awesome way to finish. I would’ve loved if Asuka won though.

I really don't care about what number Cody came in
It was pretty clear he was winning for months and in a sense you limit potential injury or f***s and only keep him out there as long as he needed to be
Fans still popped big even knowing he was coming out 30 and WALTER whether he is in number 1 or 30 was the perfect Final Boss to overcome

Interesting that Brock seemed like just another guy this year Sorta kinda They did basically set themselves up for either him vs GUNTHER or continue him and Lashley. Him getting eliminated in like 5 mins was a nice surprise

Interesting that Brock seemed like just another guy this year Was he though? When he came in everyone reacted like the shit was on and he was wrecking dudes until he got surprised tossed and then he rampaged and whipped Corbin’s ass too. I think that it was more of he’s not going to do any true main event matches at Mania so he just hit his greatest hits and rolled out. Meanwhile poor Rey Mysterio is still laying backstage somewhere. LMAO.

Decent Rumble, nothing amazing. Happy for Gunther going bell-to-bell, and that double crossbody by Logan Paul and Ricochet was cool.

Both Rumble matches were great. There was little to no dead time in either of them. You didn't seen tons of people just lying around (except maybe Liv Morgan. I legit forgot she was in the match at one point). Most of the men in the match felt like genuine stars. There were a few lower echelon but you had multiple former world champs and other guys with high profiles. Despite having a ton of big guys, things didn't slow down as most of them can go and the ones that can were used well. Almost everyone got a chance to shine. I thought 'oh no' when Brock came out but I think they handled that really well. People in the ring were worried, he threw a bunch of guys out real quick and then got his comeuppance with Bobby Lashly dumping him out so quickly and furthering their feud. I feel like it was the perfect use of him. Business picked up he had an impact and then we moved on. I think Dom should have been dumped sooner but I get why he wasn't.
Really though, the Rumble matches were great tonight. Those guys brought their A game and really delivered. I also loved how much storylines and history played into things. With Vince we often felt like we were expected to be goldfish and forget what happened the week before. Here there were multiple moments that stemmed from the past. Dana Brooke saving Emma because of their connection from Emma's first run was a great example. We saw it with the guys too. I also enjoyed that they didn't go the trope of a team turning on each other because that doesn't make sense unless it's final three or something. I actually felt like their histories and alliances and hatreds mattered tonight in a way that some rumbles struggle with.

One of the best Rumbles matches we seen in years. Night and day from last year for both mens and womens in the quality. Gunther was made a beast even without winning.

It was decent. Better than last year's but that was easy
Imagine Cody coming out at #30 with no clue of it ....

Booker still looks really good for his age
He was gassed by time he got to the ring (that walk way was insane) but if he had to train for a match he could still go

Only thing I’d change was Cody coming out at 30. If he was announced ahead of time no reason he couldn’t of came out at 18 or something.

I thought the match was very, very good, Great, even. It was clearly very well thought out and booked. Most guys got to do something meaningful or that put over their characters and there weren't any really stupid or illogical eliminations. Nobody looked really bad (except Corbin, it was unexpected that they made him the sacrificial lamb for Lesnar). I'm glad they went with the logical winner even if it was predictable rather than try and swerve us, and they still found plenty of stories to tell by breaking the match down into several chapters.
Thumbs Up:
- loved Gunther getting such an impressive showing - loved Drew and Sheamus buddying up and wrecking havoc, they looked like absolute behemoths - use of Lesnar and shock elimination. Glad Bobby got the rub here and that they're revisiting this feud. Looking forward to a proper match between these two - Kofi crash and burn > Kofi contrived hi-jinks - more realistic old school eliminations with guys hanging onto the ropes, not just flung out lazily in time for the next spot - huge respect to Logan Paul and Ricochet for pulling off that awesome spot with picture perfect synchronization - Cody/Gunther sequence. It went long enough that it did get me thinking Gunther could win and they'd find another route for Cody to get to a WrestleMania title shot. So, well played for introducing some doubt into what seemed like a clear-cut result - commentary was decent with less obsessive braying about stats and numbers than usual, they actually enhanced the stories being told. Cory also had a great call covering for Gunther turning into the ropes - he REALLY looked like he didn't want to take that bump out of the ring
Grumbles: - the match going on first. It made all the packages shown later throughout the night (Lesnar, Judgment Day, Theory, Strowman etc.) absolutely redundant. - No Rey. Obviously meant to get heat on Dom, but I can't help feel disappointed as a fan when a star as big as Rey gets teased and then pulled. I kept expecting him to run in later and maybe get involved with eliminating Dom. Could have been a nice rub for someone like Theory or Logan Paul to then quickly dump him out. - cameras tracking the new entrants instead of the action in the ring. It felt like 30 secs between each new entrant was just watching them come down the aisle. That's like, a third of the match. Totally missed Brock/Gunther interaction and Otis' elimination.
I'd love to know who was the chief architect of booking/producing this thing.
