Something about this feels like a Vince move... I'm not sure it is... since HHH has signed back some lesser talents as well... but... something specifically feels that way to me. I mean, let’s not pretend Triple H is completely passive in Jax’s career. She did have a strong TV run in NXT right near the top of the division for most of it. Hell, she was a Takeover title challenger for Bayley and Asuka during their reigns.

If this is just so Nia can retire after a bit on better terms than her inglorious exit, then I am fine. I think almost everything she's been involved with post-leg surgery has been different flavors of bad, which is a shame since she had a few glimpses of being something special beforehand. Nothing spectacular, but unique.
But with the injuries, all her strengths faded and her weaknesses were magnified. Just have her win a battle royal at 'Mania or something then exit with some level of dignity, maybe put over Rhea or Bianca or something and peace out.

Something to note at this point. The website roster was updated to add Chelsea Green back to the current roster and change Piper Niven’s name back to that, but Nia Jax hasn’t been put back into the current roster. Could merely be an oversight that gets fixed up in a day or two, but could also mean that it was just a one-off thing for the Rumble. And I know they’re selling a shirt.

She has friends backstage, HHH has a Chyna-inspired liking for women hosses and she can either put Piper over as THE big woman of the division or they can form a formidable heel team for the tag division with Niven doing all the work. I'd be surprised if she is still around this time next year.

Vince fired her because she refused to get the covid vaccine and was pretty vocal about how she didn't care for the health of others. This was at a time where Vince was fiercely protective of Roman and his (Roman's) best interests. It also doesn't help that she was likely one of the key reasons why KAIRI didn't stick around either (even after she moved back to Japan), which probably pissed off Vince even more. As he and Nick were actively trying to get her to stay.

Why?? She’s still useless as she couldn’t even jump to help out Rhea with the slam and the Riptide.

Also f*** Nia Jax.

The thing is with all the other controversial signings is that I can at least see their value as talent, even if their personal views aren't exactly flattering.
Nia's got bad knees, is an unsafe worker, demonstrated indifference about hurting people, has regressed in ring, and is outclassed by Piper Niven as a potential big bad heel. And given that Nia's publicly commented on the business being bad for her mental health, her coming back probably isn't doing her that many favors other than the paycheck.
Its a hiring with virtually no upside.

maybe nia is here(if not a 1 off) to give raquel something to do as someone "she can't intimidate with her back muscles."?

Looks like it's not a one off with her getting a new shirt.

Ughhh can’t be bothered with Nia being back.
Just seems like a terrible person in general what with her anti-vax views and not giving a **** about hurting her co-workers.
And btw the whole Kairi thing is complete negligence on WWE’s part because didn’t they put her in there with Nia the week after she had already got hurt? Lo and behold Nia hurts her again and almost caused Kairi to retire.

Man. I don’t want to come off like I’m body shaming or being mean or whatever but she looked awful out there. Barely able to walk and bigger than ever. Not good.

I’d like to know the planning genius of “Nia hasn’t been in the ring for about 2 years, has limited mobility because of her knees, seems to have put on a bit of weight and is notorious for not being a cooperative or safe worker. Also, Rhea has been in the ring for an hour when Nia arrives, and we’re pinning our big women’s match at Mania on her. Let’s have Rhea hit Nia with her finisher, it’ll be great and nothing could possibly go wrong!”
I was cringing the moment Rhea set Nia up for that and thankfully it looked like it was just a shitty-looking spot with no one getting hurt.
