Another longshot, but Rockin Robin is on good terms with the WWE now apparently (she was on the Jake Roberts doc that they did with A&E), so there's a chance she might be considered. But again, the women's division seems to be more persona non grata pre-90s. Was this a case of throwing the baby out with the bathwater over the Moolah thing?

From Mick Foley's podcast: "I received a text message from someone I'd had no contact with in a while, years and years, asking if I would induct them into the WWE Hall of Fame. As this plays out, we will see. There's always a chance that request will be denied, but I know this person responded back to WWE that I was in. As of this moment, I'm counting on being there at the Hall of Fame to induct this person. I'm not going to tell you who it is, but we will all find out together or if it's ixnayed. I'll let you know at that juncture in time. I'll let you know after the Hall of Fame who it was that asked me, but it was a daymaker for sure. Someone who had many different options and asked me, so I was really flattered, readily accepted, and we will see how that comes to pass, if it comes to pass.” Who do we think it is? I don't think it's The Rock. If he was headlining this year I think it would have been announced way earlier to build hype. Don't think it's Batista either. They don't have much history and I don't think Batista would ask Foley over the Evolution guys. Maybe Jim Cornette or Tommy Dreamer? Melina? Finally it’s the Great Power Uti’s time to shine!

They had years and years to induct Ivan Koloff, but chose not to. I don't mind him getting inducted, but like so many, it seems so much less impactful now that they're dead. He most certainly shouldn't be any headliner if and when he does get inducted, but I agree it definitely shouldn't be under that outright offensive 'legacy wing'. Was Ivan on the CTE list? I want to say I vaguely remember that he was. Which would explain a lot. He was named in 2015, meaning WWE could have inducted him in 2004 through 2014 if they wanted. But it was more important to induct Shawn Michaels and Edge as soon as possible. Oh and induct Eddie Guerrero while they were exploiting him any way they could. I'm guessing this was a joke answer, but seeing as Terry went in with his brother, I could easily see him getting inducted again, although if the dementia rumors are true, I doubt we're going to see another speech.

It's definitely not Diamond Dallas Page since DDP was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2017. My guesses as to who asked Mick Foley via a text message if Mick would agree to induct him or them into this year's class of the WWE Hall of Fame is either The Nasty Boys, The Great Muta, Kevin Sullivan or Sabu. For so many years, I've wanted The Nasty Boys to get inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame while both of them are still living. The Nasty Boys are by far, one of my most favorite tag teams. They are truly a unique tag team are were always very entertaining to watch.

Could it be someone from the Diva era? I'm sure Mick was friends with some them, like Melina for example.

And Koko B. Ware. Don't forget him. I've always been fine with Koko, it's not like he was a headliner or anything. I think the HOF during those early 2000's really should have focused on guys from the 60's, 70's and 80's. But once they started inducting guys like Stone Cold and became more focused on selling tickets, then it became indulgent on the wrong elements of what is supposed to make a HOF special. And I always found it egregious to induct guys multiple times, (I don't care if the Rock N Roll HOF does so) especially when it's however WWE wants to historically remember things. They induct a very short lived version of The Four Horsemen because I guess they didn't want to induct Windham or Arn on their own. So how about induct Arn as part of the Brainbusters or induct Windham as part of US Express? Those make more sense than their version of the Horsemen. Same with the nWo...I get having the core group of the first 3 guys...but including X-Pac? Waltman should go in as a solo induction. Same could be applied to DX, who all deserve solo inductions with the exception of Gunn and Dogg as The New Age Outlaws. I think the only limiting factor would be someone like Jim Neidhart, who couldn't be inducted on his own, and putting Bret in solely for his tag team work would be rather insulting. But he's really the only example I could think of who would miss out with this rule.

Not happening for a good while now and just focusing on the wrestling side of things, which can possibly still change but...Xavier Woods? Yes, numerous tag runs and a King of the Ring, but singles wise in WWE he hasn't really done THAT much. I can see him, as it stands now, getting in with New Day, but not necessarily a solo induction at this time.

Mick’s pal could be Stevie Richards, recently recovered from a bout of poor health that might have made a friend of his backstage raise his name in hope of cheering him up.

Xavier is a good example some might argue that you could just induct the New Day as a unit but I feel that at the very least Kofi deserves a solo induction and even discounting Kofimania you could argue his career in the mid card before the New Day was hall of fame worthy with 7 combined IC/US title and 3 tag title reigns.

I can see him, as it stands now, getting in with New Day, but not necessarily a solo induction at this time. This might be hard to explain, but I generally I tend to summarize someone's career by what their greatest role was, so in Xavier's case...I'd say the New Day. But I'd also say both Kofi and Big E are best remembered as part of the New Day. That isn't to say that either couldn't be inducted on their own, but if I had to do one or the other, it would be as a group. It's the same reason why I'd induct Nash and Hall together, as their contributions as The Outsiders far outweigh anything else in their careers, and I'm sure if Nash had it his way, this is probably how he would have wanted to be inducted.

Muta has a WCW relationship, so I guess that makes sense.
You'd think if WWE was putting him in, he'd at least have had a match on their TV, but I guess this was the price for Nakamura to go to Japan?
