Crowds are smart/nuanced now that as long as storylines are taken seriously and booked well (which this one has been so far) they'll go along. Some would prefer Cody at Mania and some might prefer Sami, but as long as they get both I doubt either will go sour over it.

Him losing a belt a month before Mania completely diminishes him losing at Mania. Especially if Sami does it. If Sami can beat Roman, where's the mystery as to whether Cody has a chance? I feel like you should do it just to make Roman even crazier, more violent, more unpredictable, the belt is the one thing keeping the bloodline together. He's so confident he's gonna dispatch Sami so easily, I think there's merit to Sami winning, and it wouldn't make Roman look bad at all, it'd make the Cody story more interesting if he's hellbent on keeping the belt, and doing whatever he has to do to take Cody out. I know people are tired by now of Roman standing tall, but Iβd let him at least get a big segment where he murders Cody dead before Mania (think the Triple H beatdown on Daniel Bryan a couple of weeks before WM30). Just one big final heel heat beatdown before WM39.

Romanβs glorious hair certainly went on a journey during that final segment π

They need to find Cody a solid feud for the next few weeks leading into Elimination Chamber that keeps the focus off of Roman Reigns. Then, after Elimination Chamber, you have six weeks to build that match. But as I said, this is a hell of a tightrope to walk β you have WWEβs hottest babyface going into his hometown for a world championship match in a feud thatβs been built over nine months. They cannot afford to butcher this one and risk Cody vs. Roman. Solo maybe? The Bloodline send its enforcer to soften Cody up before WrestleMania.

I don't think there'll be anything to worry about with Cody, especially if Sami closes night 1 by ending the Usos' reign with KO. I think people are forgetting how much winning the tag titles at Mania would mean to Sami & KO. "Of course. I've never been a tag team champion. I'd love to be tag team champion anybody. Well, maybe not anybody. There are a couple of guys I could see myself winning the Tag Team Titles with, obviously, Sami is at the top of the list. That would be the ultimate good moment for us, to achieve that. We've been tag team champions everywhere we've went, except for WWE. We definitely have to get that checked off the list soon enough,". That's a quote from KO. I'm sure Sami would love to win the WWE title at Mania, but I've seen people act like it would be a waste for them to win the tag titles, when it's clearly a huge goal for both.

It's honestly amazing that neither guy's been a tag champ in WWE yet.

Surely Liv gets a mention about being one of the iron women at the next show, possibly a match maybe? π
