Earlier tonight was Enjoy Wrestling's Something To Write Home About! Enjoy puts their shows up on Youtube and asks folks not to spoil results, so I'll adhere to their wishes and just rundown the card. GummiBoar (Erica Leigh and Boar) took on The Runway (Calvin Couture and Tyler Klein) in a Fashionista Street Fight! (The rules of a Fashionista Street Fight are that anything is legal, so long as it is fashionable). Former Enjoy Wrestling Champion MV Young battled Perfect Perkins. Underdog Mikey Montgomery fought powerhouse Ganon Jones Jr. in an attempt to secure his first victory in Enjoy. Bird Law (Speedball Mike Bailey and Veda Scott) challenged Enjoy Tag Team Champions The Production (Ziggy Haim and Derek Dillinger) for their titles. Beloved big man Mr. Grim hoped to settle his score against dastardly lawyer David Lawless. Ray Lyn (aka Chantilly Chella to WOW fans) had an incredible bout against TJPW superstar Miyu Yamashita! And in the main event, Enjoy Wrestling Champion Edith Surreal put her title on the line against the horrifying Su Yung. There was a spot in the main event where a piece of someone's ring gear got caught on the top turnbuckle pad during a high risk spot, looked like they might have gotten injured. It put a bit of a damper on what had been, top to bottom, an incredibly fun show. Hopefully things aren't as serious as they looked. After the show, I got some autographed 8x10s from Grim, Ray Lyn, Miyu Yamashita, and Veda Scott. GummiBoar had merch set up in the lobby, but they had left by the time the show ended. Which is just as well, because I thought Erica Leigh looked super-hot and I probably would've gotten tongue-tied or said something stupid. Something To Write Home About was a very good show, and like I said, it'll be up on Youtube. Go check out their past shows (also up on Youtube) to get caught up now! EDIT: Forgot to mention, a buddy of mine from college did the ring announcing for most of this show, and I very briefly talked with him after not seeing him in person in almost 20 years! Love Enjoy. One of my favourite promotions. Looking forward to the show once they air it.

Finally AWA Pro announced this.
Sept is their big anniversary show. Two night event in Ocean springs. Months ago they booked Krule(MLW and disputed IWTV World champ) to face Nightmare first night. Then they announced they got Hammerstone booked for both nights.
Buddy that co owns the fed has been hinting for weeks they had another big announcement for the show. Finally asked him what it was. Got told and damn.. Now they publicly posted about it.
Sept Ocean Springs, for the first time in a long time Hammerstone is reunited with RICHARD HOLIDAY!!!!
As of right now going down for the first night. But tempted to crash at a cousin's place that night and staying down for night two. Then taking the bus home.

Hey everyone! I kinda forgot about this thread, but the first two episodes of Enjoy Wrestling's Something To Write Home About are now available on Youtube and Wremix.TV (Wremix is a new free streaming platform, featuring shows from Enjoy, Defy, PCW Ultra, and Demand Lucha). They broke up the full event into 3 roughly hour-long episodes.

My son and I are in anew Jersey for 3 shows. Tonight was ICW NHB 50. It was his first deathmatch show and he had a blast! If you’re into deathmatches I definitely recommend it. Tomorrow (well later today) is H2O Barbwire City Showdown 2, and Sunday is ETU Summer Madness. All 3 are on IWTV.

Heard it was HOT at the H20 show last night.
Lost Art of Wrestling's show Friday was good. 7 or so matches. Hot in the gym and hot and humid outside.

We’re skipping H2O tonight bc it’s going to be the same conditions. At least ETU tomorrow is in a building with AC.

Down this way Battlezone canceled their August show and got word out that Sept and Oct will be in places with A/C. But really a school gym with AC is still hot during those months. The Gulf Coast Wrestling runs a high ceiling, metal building. No insulation. They got there 40 hours before their last show and turned the AC on. Day of the show it was 95 in the main room and right at 100 in the locker room. Yea forgot last night at LAW the Lockerroom was hot. Most of the guys just stood around outside behind the gym.

This was me last week with GrapHouse running their usual outdoor venue surrounded by asphalt and pavement in downtown Las Vegas. Even with the show starting at 7PM where the sun was low enough to where it wasn't hitting the ring directly, every single match was done in triple degree temperatures on a day where the high was a whopping 114 F. And with the severe dry heat, you really have to watch the hydration because it just evaporates out of you before you know it.

So I started filming and taking pictures at shows in 2010.
Which means this October is 14 years of hitting indie shows filming matches and vending.
Stats 20 feds-Should hit 21 in August 31 Towns-Will hit 32 near the end of August 4 States-MS/Al/TX/LA trying to add either AR or TN this year.
And 232 matches online in full.
Buddy that comes to shows with me sometimes realized Friday just how many people know myself and him now cause of hitting so many shows. Took us 15 minutes to make it to our seats. It was take 5 steps then Oh hey it's the TGCW crew. Talk 2 minutes or so take 10 more steps now it is the DCW commentary team. Take a few minutes, repeat.

What a show tonight for ETU. Great top to bottom, and the building was comfortable! Knocked another off the bucket list getting to see Billie Starkz live.
What a great weekend overall.

in all seriousness excellent that you got to see her live also I'm not sure you are aware of her but if you are a big Billie fan, you should check out Rachel Armstrong, she's got a big upside and reminds me a lot of Billie in that you can't help but root for her and can really go in the ring, her 450 is a thing of beauty speaking of 450s, B3CCA's 450 is a thing of beauty too, and will always recommend anybody check her out, she's smooth in the ring and got her look and character down to a tee
