Okay so it'll probably end at Mania but holy shit let these people do something else already.

Edge's WWE run has been brutal as f***, in terms of the booking and pacing, feel like I should make this clear.
Orton feud that never ended, until he got hurt, a thankfully shorter Miz feud, and now a Judgment Day feud that doesn't end since he got kicked from the group
It's been... less than stellar, and it sucks because it feels like Edge is capable of so much more but these feuds have largely not been it

Has he taken on Cody, Lashley, or Drew in his OG run? Because those are some pretty big omissions. He hasn’t taken on KO yet either but I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s his retirement match

Edge and Jericho should compare notes about feuds that drag on WAY too long.

Even this feud every match (CATC, ER, EC) the crowd is super hot for. I still wouldn't have continued it though unless it's true that it's going to be inside hell in a cell with heel Demon Finn. After all they've been through you can't have a regular singles match in the middle of the Wrestlemania card.

I think Edge's comeback run has been... Fine. It's been fine. He's done a lot of good stuff, the biggest issue is that a lot of things have dragged on way too long or been clogged down in headtilting decisions that undermine the whole thing. I'd say it's been good but it could've been great.
Think the biggest disappointment of the whole thing was probably the AJ match but that was mostly hurt by how AJ Styles hasn't been a reliable source of good matches in like six years at this point.

I've been OK with it but it's a few matches too long at this point and needs to end at WM just between Edge and Finn. Dom can retire his dad, Rhea can get her revenge on Charlotte, and Priest can something.

Match wise I don't think there's been anything really wrong with what he's done I just feel like... 75 plus percent of his run has been spent fighting Orton and now Judgment Day, and then the percentage that wasn't also involved fighting Miz, I really wanna see Edge do more things.

Edge/Styles/Jericho are like the holy trinity of great workers who've had a surprising amount of Wrestlemania matches that didn't live up to the hype. Between them there's a bunch of Mania matches that had high expectations and fell kinda flat. Edge/Jericho. Edge/Styles. Jericho/Styles. Jericho/Punk. Styles/Nakamura. Jericho/Owens. Edge/Orton.

Don't forget the Rollins feud which I think has been his best work since the return. I think its be perfectly fine. And I feel he wants to help JD get over. Far from brutal

I know they want to get Edge on Mania somehow but there has to be something else they could do. Elimination Chamber was the perfect blowoff for it as he won clean to get revenge. Why are they still doing this?
It also doesn't help that he's primarily been feuding with Finn who is like the third most important member in the group and is just very yesterdays news in general. Nobody buys Edge losing to him (and no I'm not counting the I Quit Match where Edge only lost after being strongarmed when they held Beth hostage) and Edge has already pinned him like five different times during this feud so it's really hard to care. I know they probably want to do something with Rey instead but I think at least Dominik against Edge would have a little more juice to it in that Dom is the most hated member of the group so you would at least want to see Edge beat the crap out of with Finn and Priest constantly running interference to prevent it.
As much as Judgement Day has really become a good act since Edge left the lack of a big marquee male star who is pushed strong is really hurting it I think. As a result in a situation like this they don't really have anyone they can go against a guy like Edge and who you think can actually beat him. Rhea is clearly the franchise and easily the most pushed but they can't do intergender stuff. Dom is a fun character who has a lot of heat but he's the weasel of the group and not someone who you are supposed to take seriously. Finn has done too many jobs and hasn't been protected enough to be taken seriously against top faces. Priest is just the big guy muscle of the group and is the least important when it comes to being featured in storylines even though he's probably booked stronger then Finn.
I think if they would finally have the Usos lose and maybe let them be the big heel team in the tag division that would be a more effective way of using them as they would be wrestling more midcard type level guys who they could actually go over on.

You’d think Judgement Day would be better at ending things.

Far from brutal Which is why I am not mad at the JD feud He wanted to get them over but didn't like the direction but is still willing to get them on the other side if you will JD is over. Now whether it has anything to do with Edge is debatable but him and Finn at Mania should be fun

Yeah, it's tricky. There was at least some implied storytelling tonight with Rhea saying that she's purely focused on Charlotte now (with Dom also wanting to antagonise Rey some more), while Finn only came out solo to attack Edge rather than with the group.

Far from brutal That feud still has one of the dumbest segments I've seen in a long time in it, Rollins just walking into Edge's lit house, because the door is unlocked, yet not a single person is home, because Beth went to the store and... didn't lock her door lmfao All timer right there, in kayfabe it makes Beth look like Slapjack levels of biggest idiot ever

Edge has been great in his comeback. New catalogue of classic matches and he’s a better promo and wrestler now than I think he’s ever been.
If this is leading to the rumored Hell in a Cell match at Mania then I’m all for it too. What a notch in Balor’s cap to get a match like that.
And while time wise the feud seems long, that’s really only because Edge left for a few months in the middle. They’ve really not had that many matches.

With Rhea going to be dealing with stuff on Smackdown, and for the moment saying the stuff with Beth is in the past, I'm wondering if we're already seeing the end of at least THIS version of Judgment Day.
Like I said, Rhea is dealing with the Smackdown Women's Champion, so you can probably expect to see more of her there. And she's bringing Dom with her at least this week, probably to finally get the physicality ready for a Rey/Dom match, so that's half the group gone.
Priest wasn't with Finn tonight during the attack on Edge (possibly selling Elimination Chamber injuries but who knows), so if Rhea and Dom are gonna be on Smackdown for the foreseeable future, WrestleMania should be a "Fate of Judgment Day" match or something with a special match with either Edge vs. Balor again or, since he might be back by then, Edge/AJ vs. Balor/Priest.
Either way, after Mania, something has to change with Judgment Day. Perhaps they could be the first major feud, should it happen, for a post-Mania Sami/KO as tag champs.
Edge then can rest up since apparently it was announced a while back he would re-retire at SummerSlam.
