I collect American cereal boxes. We don't have much in the way of crazy cereal here in Ireland so the wackier the flavour the better.
I'd have to go count but I have to have over 60 different ones at this stage. Handy thing is that once they're folded down they're easily stored. And the seasonal designs make for interesting decorations come Halloween and Christmas.

Had a beer bottle collection from the regional breweries that had a lot of good artwork - ended up recycling them as it was taking up room and they got dusty quick. Plus I know how to get all my favorites again if needed.

Can koozies. They have a practical purpose I use every single day, are an affordable souvenir on trips and at special events, and are super easy to store in a cupboard in my kitchen. Love 'em.

I've been collecting Retro games for about a year but one of the things I'm really into getting whenever I get the chance are pong consoles. https://www.instagram.com/p/Co8hDDRLN4k Also, since people mentioned games, here's my current game collection display, along with some of the Atari and Intellivision games I now keep stored:

Reasonably obscure TTRPG rule books. I will buy that stuff just for the lore. I grabbed the WWE one for that reason.

Sand.
When I was in high school, we took a family trip to Bermuda. I thought the pink sand was so cool that I filled a little container with it. After moving to California, I went on a rafting trip in the Grand Canyon. Our guide gave us all little bags and said to bring a sample of sand home with us. On my honeymoon in Hawai’i, I managed to get a small bottle of black sand off the beach. A few years later the wife and I went to Puerto Vallarta and she got all snarky and said, “What? Are you going to grab sand from here too?” And so I did.

I know Ireland is big and you don't know it all, but wasn't there a restaurant in Ireland that sold nothing but cereal? I know I heard an interview with the owners on CBC Radio on morning, I think it was Ireland where the guys had opened up.

It was founded by two brothers from Belfast but the cafes themselves were all in England. I did visit their places in Shoreditch and Camden while they were open. It was a really cool set-up done up to look like a bedroom from the 90's with CRT's all over the place playing VHS's of old TV shows and movies. Alas all their locations closed down during Covid and they're just a website now. I used to order cereal off then regularly but they've stopped shipping to Ireland because of the customs issues from Brexit.

I think a lot of vintage logos are really great and in many cases more appealing than the current / modern logos. I like browsing Logopedia to see the old logos of stores and restaurants.

Saying they closed during the pandemic rings a bell too.

I recently started collecting pogs. I was never into the game when it was popular, but I stumbled upon some at an antique store late last year and realized that they are the perfect '90s pop culture time capsule. Anything that was big in the '90s was on pogs, and even the generic ones have crazy "xtreme" '90s artwork and designs.
Also, I've been collecting novelty dice and playing cards since I was a kid.

I have over 200 plastic bottle caps from bottles of a single brand of unsweetened iced tea.
There'd be more if the cafeteria in my office didn't permanently shut down when COVID hit.

I mostly collected wrestling items in the 1990s, early 2000s. Around 2000 really got into autographs and did that for 11 years. During my early adult time I wound up in a job at a homeless resource center and started collecting newspaper articles, online print outs on local people I know who were in the same line of work. I also liked DVDs and books, mostly biographical about homelessness but one was Lucy in "Stone Pillow" the movie. Most of my wrestling items are gone, autographs I still have simply because I can't get what I paid for them. My interest in homeless articles and pamphlets has come in handy as I recently started doing a non fiction book I want to get done with Amazon, on about 20 people I worked with, with some being some major advocates in the homeless resource field. I even wound up befriending a newspaper reporter and we chat to this day. The funny thing was I missed her call for an interview on what I thought was/is the best article ever done on our local homeless. And with my letter to the editor on the article, she got in touch and we've conversed ever since. I feel like my collection may be pretty unique as my friend doesn't even have copies of her old articles.
