I forget about skinny Rock. He came back talking 100 miles an hour like someone spiked his cocaine with Red Bull. So; current Tony Khan

I feel like 2006-2007 Big Show is often forgotten for how... sloppy he just sort of looked. It's been a moment, but I feel like that's around when it got so bad that they sent him to OVW or something to get back in shape. Feel like Show didn't fully get his mojo again til 2009ish JeriShow plus or minus when he finally ditched the Andre singlet.

I thought his ECW run in 2006 was when he got his mojo back.

I know it was definitely 2000 because that was the year Show was replaced by Steven Richards with the RTC gimmick for No Mercy's WWF Championship Mode.

You're way off, Show got sent to OVW in 2000. ...Oh wow, yeah, you're right. I could've sworn there was also something that happened to him either before or after his time in ECW where he was basically given an ultimatum to get his shit together, but it's been a moment.

It's time for a one time only breaking the rules of this section special because I rewatched this music video + heard this song for the first time in almost a decade and oh my god you can't tell me there's a bigger time capsule of 2013 than this.

He took time out at the end of his contract after December to Dismember and then returned at No Way Out over a year later and probably 50 pounds lighter. Also if we're talking Big Show dark eras, there's a phase in about 2002 where he's wearing black pants over his usual gear and with the buzz cut he had he looked like a gay trucker.

I'm like 99% certain this is a photoshop, but because wrestling journalism is a bastion of credibility, I see it posted in at least a few different articles as the "before" to when he got off the booze and came back crazy fit.

It wasn't. He appeared super bloated when he faced Tanahashi at WK 2020, to the point commentary even commented on it (while trying to give a positive spin). Match was still great, because it's Tana and Jericho, but it was probably the worst he had looked. Screenshot I just took off NJPW World.

Can't believe he looked like this at any point during his WWE run. That's what I would expect to see him looking like at a small Indy show 10 years from now.

I stand corrected, and now I'm even more impressed by Jericho having gotten himself back into shape to the extent that he has since then. I know the stupid Painmaker face paint predates that match, but it definitely has a Cody's Neck Tattoo effect of drawing your attention away from the rest of him.

Jericho in 2020 was probably the worst shape he's ever been in. And it showed in the ring especially in the Florida heat+humidity of Daily's Place.
All credit to him cutting back on the alcohol and getting himself back into far better shape.

Show is 3x bigger than the average person AND he wrestles and weight lifts, so he probably needs close to 8000-9000 calories just to maintain his weight. This leads to the question of: how much exactly was he eating every day to get that big?? Theoretically he would need higher diets than those who are on My 600lb Life to get this big

Taking that year's break was the best thing he ever did

I remember everyone saying how chubby Jericho was during his WK 2018 match against Omega, but for a couple years the guy just seemed to get huge. I don't know what his max weight was, but he definitely turned it around well since then.

It was kind of the big eye opener.
