Wait wait wait... since when is shocking somebody with a god damn cattle prod a prank? That's assault, brother. Harley Race once chased Owen Hart with a prod after he ribbed the boys by making Harley's chili extra spicy. If you were in the general vicinity of Owen...there was a good chance you were going to get ribbed. LOL

I wish the show had been called "ribbed" and it was an hour of various wrestlers shitting in people's bags, cutting people's hair and duct taping them to things.

The best one is where Kofi gets absolutely blasted in the face with powder and screams like someone jammed a needle in his eye Dude's eyes were bloodshot from it and he screamed in horror "I GOTTA GO TO THE AIRPORT LIKE THIS? OOOOH NOOOO!" lmfao

I distinctly remember them pranking Boogeyman for a promo read where they kept redoing it or making him say weird shit in spanish, but the dude was such a professional that it was just endearing
When Dolph came in he was the sweetest dude in full demon gear just like "Hey brother how are you?? Good to see you!" like you could tell Dolph was even like "I'm sorry for pranking you Marty" lmfao
He also got his own segment with Papa Shango where they f***ed around in a mall though so it worked out!

Wait wait wait... since when is shocking somebody with a god damn cattle prod a prank? That's assault, brother. Goldberg considers the fact that he asked for Scott to shock him for real to be the stupidest idea he's ever had in wrestling, and that's including the time he almost lost his arm punching a limo window. As someone who's been attacked with a tazer before, I agree.

These sort of shows were all over TV at one point, there is even a few still left with practical jokes being the theme. MTV had about 4 different ones at one point. I dont really see this as any more mean spirited than any of those. Surprised it was called 'Swerved' and not 'Ribbed,' given the usual wrestling terminology - and the chance for them to make innuendo out of the name. Impractical jokers most of the pranks and stuff are aimed more at the main cast members. They may do things in the open but the butt of the joke is usually them not the randos.

After, and IIRC, it didn't make it past the pilot stage before someone in the network rubbed 2 brain cells together to realize how stupid of an idea it was.

Anyone remember OJ's terrible prank show 'Juiced'? GOAT level nonsense. Dude just disrupts ppl's lives in the least funny way possible and then goes around saying YOU GOT JUICED until any suspensions that dude isn't getting juiced have subsided.

"The production company behind the OJ Simpson reality show Juiced has decided to end the series and their association with the former football star after only one episode. When asked why they were ceasing production, the company reportedly stated that no unexpected prank they devised could compare to the biggest in person surprise for strangers: OJ Simpson not murdering them."

He had such side-splitters as: -OJ sells oranges on the side of the road -OJ tries to sell a used white Bronco -OJ works the drive-thru at a fast food restaurant

Yeah, the joke is never on the mark. They get drawn in, but the point is how embarrassing or strange it is for Murr, Sal and Q.

It says a lot that when you search this show on YouTube, the top response is “LOL Finn Balor had his phone stolen while he was in NXT.” Like, even after watching it, what’s the prank there? Who’s the mark? Are we supposed to laugh at the fan who is fearing getting his ass kicked by WWE wrestlers? The wrestlers for thinking this is legit?
