Yep. Worth it for the HOB vs Elite and Texas Deathmatch

Nah, AEW not really hitting for me lately. I’m sure that show will be very good, but for $50 there has to be something that really blows me away.

My wife says we're getting it! Even when I'm feeling cold on AEW, her adherence to watching each PPV together keeps me getting the shows.

Really haven't regretted a PPV purchase so far, so I'm in.
Granted I might be grading a pile of papers the size of Patrick Ewing during it, but I'll get a pizza or something and feel somewhat better about that part.

Yes. This year looks better on paper than last year's PPV. Punk vs MJF dog collar match saved the show.

Probably not. I've lost interest in MJF and both the tag and women's title matches are weak imo. Plus I already have 9+ hours of wrestling to watch this weekend.
That said there's a few times I've caved late so might do, I'm sure it'll be good just not significantly better than what we've had on TV recently (especially as many of my favourites don't have matches).

AEW PPVs deliver 90% of the time for me, so yes. And I unapologetically love Iron Man matches.

I've gotten them all so far, why break tradition? Tag title match is the only one I'm meh on but I'm sure it'll be entertaining at least. Really hope the Gunns drop it soon.

Definitely. Very hyped for the top two matches and the rest of the card looks solid to great.

Even though I thought it was a very weak go-home show (which seems to put me in the minority here), I'll probably order it. I just hope it's not a five-hour show on a Sunday night.

Do I want to? Absolutely.
Will I? Considering the state is jerking me around on paying me the unemployment benefits I am due AND I am still interviewing left and right to land a job so spending what money I DO have unless necessary would be kinda dumb? Doubtful.
It’s still a possibility should I decide to put it on one of my credit cards I guess…but purely for financial reasons it’s 50/50 right now.

No prospect of Sting jumping off something insane? No buys.

No, I've been apartment hunting and it's kinda got me burned out at the moment. I'm still invested in the results, but just don't have the energy to put into actively watching right no.
Also remember: always trust in Bryan Danielson.

Gonna see if the movie theater is doing a screening like last year's show. If so, I'll probably go see it (get to watch it on a big screen with a lot of like-minded fans AND it's cheaper than a home PPV purchase. Win-win). Otherwise, probably not.

Maybe. I know a bar that usually shows it and I might go if I can wrangle a friend or two to come by if not I'd probably skip it to save a few bucks

Maybe if the main event was Kayla Rossi vs. Megan Bayne.

The poll results are interesting; I'm sure someone with more time can get the actual numbers but it seems to me you've gone from about twice or three times as many people (on this board) saying they will purchase the PPV vs. those saying they won't- All Out 2021, Full Gear 2021, Revolution 2022- to it being about even in responses for shows like Forbidden Door and All Out 2022, to it being the other way now, where twice as many people are saying they won't order the PPV.
I know we're a small sample size in regards to wrestling fans as a whole, but the patterns are there.

Ugh, I have an insane grading weekend ahead of me; I'd much rather go see it in a theater, but something tells me that by the time I finish grading all these tests and papers that most theaters will have their tickets sold out.

I most likely wouldn't even watch it for free with an Iron Man match as the main event, f***ing hate that stupid grinding chore of a gimmick, so there's absolutely no chance I'm dropping $50 on it. Though even outside of that I think the card isn't really interesting at all other than Moxley / Hangman. I think you might need to take a break from AEW
