The more I think about it, the more I think this might have been the best match of the night. I'm not saying it was better as an in-ring contest than either Danielson/MJF or Hangman/Mox, but those matches would have struggled to be bad.
This was a terrible stipulation that has usually delivered bad matches, but Christian and Jungle Boy made it work and made it enjoyable. That's a more impressive feat than Bryan Danielson having a good 60+ minute match.

From a work standpoint along this was the best “casket match” I’ve ever seen outside of Lucha Underground.

Keep in mind that this was a match whose stipulation was changed at the last possible moment — two days before Revolution, which makes it being great all the more impressive.

I missed a lot of the build to this one; why was it a casket match? I’m gonna watch the show tonight so I’m just curious

I have to say, I hate basically everything they have done with Jungle Boy since they started this feud, but this was about as perfect an end to the feud as it gets. Christian is a master of psychology. There's a reason that a whole bunch of ladder matches since the TLC days have gone bigger, but people remember almost none of them - Christian knows how to make even a brawl have logic and stakes. Keep this guy on your payroll as long as you can. The casket immediately falling below after it got closed was a weirdly cheesy, yet appropriate way to end the match. I thought this was hilarious. Christian is a cartoon villain, turtleneck and all, so he went straight to hell immediately. Next week I want to see a skit where he wakes up in the casket in a marketplace in China somehow.

Great match and a perfect end to the rivalry. And 10/10 for Christian’s outfit. *Needs a picture of the outfit* The guy is hilarious. I got him to call my brother a dork, on an autograph!!

It his me that this was also Christian's first full match back since August too.
