The series was a mixed bag over-all, but it did give us Sky-Byte so I can't really complain too much.

For those interested, their latest "Members Only" video is up on Patreon. It's for Youngblood.
You know, it always surprises me whenever I look up "Youngblood" and discover that the "b" isn't capitalized.

That sure was a bunch of fandom backlash backlash, old, angry critiques of the worst of fan behaviour given a fresh airing because he enjoyed a show and kind of below the usual enjoyable blend of information mixed with snark for SG content, it just felt angry. I liked 2011 Thundercats, but at the end of the day the audience wasn't there for that and the audience wasn't there for Roar either, and no amount of being angry at other fans reactions to a show that was not to their tastes will change that. If people being angry online was enough to kill brands, Beast Machines would have ended Transformers, Teen Titans Go and every post TAS Batman show would have ended DC output and so on.
We aren't getting a Thundercats movie for the forseeable because WB are a bloated, mismanaged disaster who can't even consistently make money from successful brands, not because people didn't like a comedy reboot.
