Meh. Bye. I know they had their fans, but they always seemed like a pair who considered themselves much more than they actually were, had no gratitude to anyone around them and were oddly treated as these huge deals, seemingly because of who their step dad was. They stopped being full time wrestlers less than a year after Laurinaitis married their mother and by then Nikki's last title reign had already ended.

That doesn’t seem to be based on anything factual .

Still, one assumes part of Johnny's courtship wasnt exactly de-focusing them prior to the marriage. It's not like he met their mum and married her the next week. I'd imagine being successful with the reality shows also had a lot to do with it as well, but everything they got came because WWE put the machine behind them, not really because they were these amazing talents, and it never feels like they appreciate/d that. So, I stick with my dismissive bye.

One assumes that WWE pushing the Bellas years before he began dating their mother says that maybe that wasn't really a nepotism thing and that it's still one arrow in the quiver of stuff you're making up. They were being strongly featured for years.

People here are being surprisingly weird about two people leaving their jobs and wanting to try new things. Especially when they’re using their real names in that attempt.

They've gotten everything they can from WWE and they don't offer anything to them anymore, so kind of surprised it took this long.

Also to add, WWE did give them the world…and then quickly yanked it away when they needed to spin a narrative about how useless the Divas era was compared to the Women’s Revolution. A narrative they had AJ Lee “shoot” on and documentaries saying it put women’s wrestling back and all this which, hey, even if it was true, still feels like a crappy thing to do for people who wrestled there and were genuinely inspired to wrestle by the Bellas and everyone else WWE hired and trained.
They don’t need to appreciate jack shit.
EDIT: Britt Baker literally tweeted just now that the Bellas inspired her to be a wrestler.

They don’t need to appreciate jack shit. They're independent contractors. Do people expect a roofer to constantly praise a company after their job's done?

Definitely not going to miss them. I actually forgot they were still under contract for WWE.

Was their last appearance was showing up for Raw 30th and then leaving before the show started?
Or did they no show the event?

I'm completely lost in this thread. They're seems to be themes of A) The twins are unappreciative and B)People acting out of line. Neither are true, imo.

Imagine being given a record setting, dominant title run, then almost immediately after it's done having them throw you under the bus and go "Wow what a f***ing shitshow that era was, just a real problem that wasn't our fault or anything it just sucked it was for mysterious reasons really bad damn well I'm glad we're out of the era with those f***ing losers in it". WWE's weird "this wasn't absolutely down to us and our standards, practices, creative, views on women, or training systems at all" shit turned the women of those times into sacrificial lambs for a company that tried to seem like the savior to what it itself had worked to undermine. Gross stuff. I'd have left sooner, too
