Dude you really assume alot about AEW and the ratings/fan interest off of stuff that isn't really factual, it's just... well assumption. Considering Dynamite is averaging less viewers this year than they were last year, even with basketball, his "assumptions" aren't really off base. I just was curious how preferring Mania is making people not watch AEW? Like I'm not even saying that people wouldn't prefer WWE or be invested in the Mania build, but I don't see how it then means that people are just not watching AEW because of that You can watch both programs without one interfering with the other. I think there are a ton of reasons that the ratings could be lower and some have been sited here like March Madness. I feel like WWE being a hot program shouldn't take away from the other company, it should only help the whole of wrestling when that happens. Like idk what to say here, others were also questioning why there's a connection to Mania when Mark said it too, to me it seemed like an assumption that didn't add up as a whole. I don't think Mania season has ever hurt AEW's numbers much like I don't think any Hot Angle or big PPV event has for some reason driven viewers away from RAW or Smackdown, don't think they ever have, people just watch the shows.

First of all, it’s okay lol. Breathe. Second, I think you’re right as far as ratings go. I don’t think “WrestleMania season” has affected its ratings. Like you mentioned, it’s probably more other things like March Madness. Like, wasn’t it a million a few weeks ago? Point is it definitely has a space it’s living at that is seen as successful. But you’re always going to get this comparison. Pros and cons contrasting the company. Also - could WWE’s hot phase be taking interest away from AEW? Mm. I’d say it’s possible. But look at all the praise Revolution got. There are still things AEW can do that WWE cannot. Not “ won’t but cannotAnd vice versa.

I think ultimately basketball is something that does a number on AEW as much as the NFL does to RAW, when it comes to whatever either company is doing, if they're not in direct competition, I don't see it being a huge deal I can see it getting back to a million in the Summer, it's when it usually does its best, it's why they load it with specials and Forbidden Door looks like it's always gonna be a June thing

I do think if Forbidden Door's going to be a regular thing (and really even if it's not) they need to change up their PPV scheduling a bit. The gap between Full Gear and Revolution is just too long, it'd work a lot better if Revolution was in February, Double or Nothing was in April, then Forbidden Door was in July, there would be much less downtime.

I dunno, but if I was hyped up and waiting for Wrestlemania, I'd rather just watch Raw and Smackdown and even that'd be bit of a stretch to catch all of them both. It's not like I'd want to spend all my spare time watching wrestling just because real bangers are happening in AEW too.
