I actually think it’s a clever idea to announce the first match of the whole weekend like that. Fair play. It’s a good way to get the fans, in particular the lapsed fan, in their seat and in front of their television at the very moment the show kicks off Saturday night. And having attended a WrestleMania in the past, the crowd is scorching hot for the start of the show. They could roll out the Maximum Male Models vs. The Viking Raiders to open WrestleMania and the live crowd would eat it up. |
