According to reports we're also getting Gunther vs Dolph Ziggler and Seth Rollins vs Mustafa Ali
Not sure if true but I guess we need to continue the "These two are losers who just lose" storyline everyone's loving right now... though Dolph bumping for Gunther does sound amazing at least

Main Event isn't even really used for that any more, it's mostly about giving NXT talents a scouting match in a big arena now. Even if nobody watches, at least they'd technically be winning something somewhere. You're Mr. AEW, does beating enhancement guys on Dark help the cred of the people whose only appearances on Dynamite or Rampage is to lose to the people who are always on there? Or are wrestling fans too genre-savvy now and see right through it?

For at least part of the show, Raw will go head to head with something WWE probably never thought it would: the XFL. And the game is between the division leaders: the 5-0 Defenders against the 4-1 Roughnecks.
I doubt it will have much impact on Raw’s rating, but who would have ever thought THAT would happen?

You're Mr. AEW, does beating enhancement guys on Dark help the cred of the people whose only appearances on Dynamite or Rampage is to lose to the people who are always on there? Or are wrestling fans too genre-savvy now and see right through it? For me it does yes, at least it's showcasing they can beat someone, it shows they're earning a spot on the main show even if they lose and stay at a certain rung on the depth chart before an eventual push or what have you. Even if they're wins against lower card talent or tomato can jobber types, it's something. It's showcases, it's viewable at the click of a button, or in a recap as AEW is prone to do to showcase "Hey this guy or girl's on a bit of a winning streak, they've won their last 7 matches", yeah they've been on DARK/Elevation, but a person on a hot streak, even if they lose on Dynamite, comes off like some kind of threat, especially if they take an uppercard talent to a limit and show there's potential of them moving up eventually, as multiple talents have done. This is what's really missing from this feud. I'd much rather have seen Ali actually BUILD on the win of Ziggler and this new "Motivational gimmick" by actually having him then beat either jobbers or lower card acts like Tozawa, or one half of a tag team (Which their booking only ever has tag teams fight tag teams most of the time so that rules that avenue out too) than him immediately getting fed to Omos and Seth Rollins. The whole point is he got a win over Ziggler and got overconfident. A fluke winning streak would have been such a good way to keep it going and maybe he loses the rematch to Ziggler. The storyline as it stands now is Ali beat Ziggler, Ali got cocky, and now they're both just... gonna keep losing. There's just gotta be something more compelling than "Here are two guys who lose, one loser beat the other, now the loser who won is coasting off of the first win he's had in months, and he will proceed to lose to more talent right afterward, and so will Ziggler", they have what a dozen writers at the show at any given time? I thought with Vince gone we'd be past these kinds of storylines, but sometimes shit feels like it's still getting ripped up backstage as the shows progressing. Like... this is supposed to be easier than they make it, they have five hours of TV programming they could do this on and actually weave a story through, but it really just feels like they don't care, and it's kind of crazy how it feels like Ali has been booked WORSE since Vince left, it's not a high bar, but he's literally gone from underdog babyface to just an outright loser/jobber who is in a gimmick where it feels like he's counting the days till his contract expires. Dude does everything in his power to try and make shit work, and it kills me that say Fuego Del Sol felt like he had more momentum before he got hurt than Mustafa Ali did, because Fuego is actually treated like someone who jobbed, earned a contract, and then eventually started actually winning matches and while still on the undercard, could be valued as a threat who could pull out a win, someone who shows improvement. At this point I'd want that for Ali, because his bar isn't low it's like embedded in the earth. And yes WWE could really use a DARK/Elevation type of show, one that actually airs on Youtube instead of behind a paywall because that's also something that really separates AEW's lower end shows and Main Event/LVL Up. I get needing exclusive content and all but like feasibly I can't fathom how much they'd actively lose by putting Main Event or LVL Up on Youtube for free, but they won't. Either way... this storyline just sucks, is what sums this all up. Both performers are great, they deserve better than whatever the hell this is, because the term "burial" is overused and stale but like this is what the definition actually feels like it fits, because it just feels like there's no actual payoff, it's just "These guys suck... here's them continuing to do that" as a booking perception, and I really, really wish there was more, because it's really not f***ing hard for there to be.

Cody v Solo - Shenanigans guaranteed. I'd be surprised if we didn't get a ''no-contest'' ruling. I'd be shocked if either of them took the pin. Brock and Omos weigh-in - Not interested unless Brock is able to F5 Omos on it but I doubt it since I'd assume they'd save that for Mania for a Mania moment. MizTV sounds like fun, Damage CTRL will definitely feature surely lol. 4 v 4 tag match sounds like fun tbh. If it's true that we're getting Gunther/Ziggler than Ziggler's bumping should be crazy fun to watch and if we do get Ali/Rollins than assuming it gets a decent length than I'm actually looking forward to the match.

I can't wait for Bayley, Dakota, and Iyo to show up on Miz TV dressed up as Trish, Becky, and Lita respectively.

I don't know why but for some reason I've got the feeling Cody against Solo is going to end in a disqualification. Swerve: it's a Ghost Pepper sauce wing eating competition, Solo has got this one in the bag.
