Killer Mike just swept the Rap Grammy categories with what criticially and among fans of the genre universally agree was the best rap album last year. If they want mainstream exposure (and Killer Mike is a deep fan, going as far in interviews to say his all time favorite is "Wildfire" Tommy Rich) they should latch on to this. There's so many better paths than The Rock right now. They'd have a massive moment on their hands if they had Killer Mike accompany Cody for a big-time entrance at WM40 for a title match w/ Roman.

O'Shea Jackson Jr is maybe the worst active nepobaby in Hollywood who helped normalize Nick Hausman and acted as one of the worst bad faith f***s during the CM Punk-AEW debacle. And now he's fiending for further social media engagement from wrestling fans because nobody's given a shit about him in the nine years since that movie based on his dad's group's Wikipedia page and being the only castmember not to benefit from working on Cocaine Bear, a movie that was enjoyable in spite of him not becauseof anything he did in it. He's maybe surpassed 'Laugh Now, Cry Later' as the worst thing Ice Cube ever made. I liked Ingrid Goes West. ...
That's all I got for testimony towards O'Shea Jackson Jr.
Me too!

Why do I have a bad feeling that all of Gewirtz's ideas are going to be "Bring back the regressive content of the Attitude Era"? Confirmed: There will be one or two racist accents used in a promo from Dwayne. The Rock trying to be hip with a new generation

The strategy is going to be highlighting the few Cody fans who went too far this weekend. O’Shea Jackson is already tweeting some of it. That’s going to be how they try and claim it’s the minority. Who is this guy? Some WWE influencer? Is he one of those "super fans" they always put in the front rows of the shows? He seems so annoying I won't even bother posting his tweets.

Apologies if this has already been referenced but CM Punk was right:
“…and right before you’re about to cross that finish line and finish your story - OH WAIT! What’s that in the distance? It’s a much bigger superstar that hasn’t been around in a very long time, coming to take it all away from you!”

They are so desperate for it to go away they're making up shit about people making bomb threats and how WWE won't budge (which may be true). It's been 1 f***ing day. If this keeps up until Mania we're gonna see so many asses. I mean, I don't doubt either of those two things are true: the first one because there are people in any fandom who are, uh, NOT GOOD to say the least, and the second because first indications are things aren't looking to change at the moment.

It doesn't make sense to me the idea that WWE has done this on purpose to get support for Cody like a 'YES movement'. Cody was already the top star in the company, the story was there for everyone to just enjoy. All this has done is piss people off and yeah maybe people will be more relieved if Cody does eventually get the match back but it's such a stupid backwards way to do it. No way this is on purpose. It's like when people say New Coke was designed to roll out "Coca Cola Classic", and... absolutely not. Coca Cola themselves have always denied it, and it's not hard to see why: rolling out a new brand and backtracking in 3 months is COLOSSALLY expensive in manufacturing, distributing, advertising, etc, and probably risked damaging their relationship with many restaurants, retailers, etc, in addition to pissing fans off. They only did it in the first place because they had lost a lot market share to Pepsi and were on the defensive for the first time. They were trying to change because they felt they basically HAD to when Pepsi had managed to become more hip. While their sales climbed to higher than before the rollout, it probably took quite some time to offset the damage done. Now, maybe Coca Cola would lie in order to not look manipulative... only, no, they have been open about times they DID send a product out with the intention of sowing a specific reaction. (Less so the "hiring death squads" thing they did, I mean something less nefarious. ) Tab, Coca Cola's diet soda before Diet Coke, had a following but wasn't a big enough player to necessitate "Tab Clear", a clear version. What it did do, however, was undermine Crystal Pepsi's gimmick and cause market confusion that took both sodas out in a way that Coca Cola was perfectly okay with doing, as Pepsi had a whole lot more to lose on this particular battle than Coca Cola did. This, they don't really make any great effort to hide because, hey, it worked and wasn't dubiously legal or anything.

Post the reaction then next time Rock comes out there. The one where people have realized what’s happening and that they don’t want this. Like if they’re clinging to these surprise pops like they’ll keep happening..good luck. Also: And that talents name? Well I can’t say..buuut let’s just call him Boulder. Mick Foley? Makes sense when you think about it.

Well Killer Mike just got arrested at the Grammys so it may not be him. lol Imagine being arrested somewhere named "Crypto Arena." Like, by name alone that should count as international waters. Seriously though, reports are coming in that it's for a misdemeanor and nothing serious, although nobody can name what it is yet.

Cody vs Nakamura was a good filler feud for Cody, as the Choke Artist Known as Shinsuke was a walking, talking warning of what Cody could become if he didn't finish the story and it ended with a win for Rhodes and a bit of extra momentum going into the rumble. We don't need to see it again as that part of the story has been told.
