I legitimately don't understand why people have ever liked Rock's promos. He just says random obnoxious shit. Sometimes I think it was the charisma that went along with it. Rock was one of my favorites back in the day but as a 37 year old nerd, I actually listen to what he says and just scratch my head. |

Back in 1999-2000, as a teen I liked Rock's promos and mostly his swagger. Nowadays they haven't aged well and would be okay if he just got a HOF induction and left it at that. But I get they gotta do Rock/Roman at some point and maybe even Cody/Rock but I can't say I'm looking forward to the promos. |

Aye man, he kinda cooked a little bit I can't even front If you look at it as a heel promo, it's among his finest work in a decade. If you look at it as a face promo, it's, uh, not exactly going to get him cheered tonight. He could play the "your fans are dumb babies" card when he was feuding with John Cena 10+ years ago. Cena was about half a decade into being "controversial" and being the kind of guy who "some people love, but some people hate!" But Cody Rhodes has universal fan support. There are zero "Let's Go Cody/Cody Sucks" dueling chants at WWE events. |

Yeah...I think we're getting heel Rock. Replace Bryan with Cody, Batista with Rock and Orton with Roman and this is gonna be the new WM30.
I ain't gonna lie, I laughed at that Rock promo. I'm all for Cody so if we get a heel Rock outta it and Cody beats his ass? Let's do it. I'd rather hear Cody and Rock on the mic than Roman doing his same old shtick he's been doing these past few years.
