All these years of the same match happening over and over again only to have Roman be the 4th most important person in the feud that'll likely have him lose the title. Not only that but you destroy all of the mystique he had built up on the mic by doing a dumber version of rock's gimmick that is somehow more offensive. They better course correct a bit or a lot of this shit is going to be for naught.

Seth was great. Probably the only real positive of that entire segment. Problem was he was the only real positive of that entire segment. Cody couldn't say shit, Roman looked embarrassed to deliver that "promo" which was so bad I want it to stay in quotation marks forever, and f***stain Dwayne took forever yet again.

I try to be optimistic about WWE stuff but holy f*** I just want it to be after WM with Cody as champ and Rock f***ing off already.

That’s because the Rock’s heyday was in the late 90’s/early 00’s.

Where being “edgy” and offensive was considered the height of “cool.”

It really, really isn't helping that they keep having him repeat Rock's catchphrases and desperately want his validation in particular, and that both Seth and Cody are completely fixated on Rock. Roman's coming off like a bootleg knockoff who's just the one technically holding the belt.
