If they are really going for Rock/Roman, and something was to happen that prevents Rock from wrestling at Mania, it would be hilarious.
I obviously don't wish injury upon him.

The Rock was genuinely one of the most unselfish main event guys when he was full time throughout the Attitude Era. I think that Rock would be pretty disappointed in the actions of this Rock.

Let's look beyond this Cody incident.
Is anyone else afraid of TKO creative taking control? They are definitely going to have their favorites.
The only question is, how many of our favorites will they push aside for their select chosen ones?
Only time will tell.

The Rock (Character) and The Man (Dwayne Johnson) really do feel more and more like two different people. |

I obviously don't wish injury upon him.Of course, but there is the reality of multiple 50+ year old part time wrestlers getting injured minutes into their matches -Goldberg knocking himself out -Shane tearing his ACL -Triple H tearing his peck -Undertaker tore his groin in one of the Saudi matches Sure, you can say individually these are all one off, freak accidents, but the reality is they were all around 52, and all doing moves they did safely throughout their careers. |

The real story that needed finishing was apparently that tease in Young Rock, if NBC didn't cancel it Season 3 would've ended with a Rock/Reigns cinematic match in the flashforwards where Rock is running for president.

The accusations are gonna come back later ,with many more names involved Yeah it’s probably a disaster to have their entire hardcore fanbase advertise that a giant movie star is wrestling the longest running champion in modern history at Mania for them to non hardcore viewers. Probably going to really regret all this free publicity to giant swaths of people who couldn’t care less about Cody or his story…but know who the Rock is. I am archiving this sarcastic post. |

Even if the idea is, "Well, even people who don't care about wrestling will for some reason decide to care about wrestling if it involves a dude who's barely had any movies break even in the current decade!", then it's still completely stupid because Seth and Roman would be completely interchangeable to those people.
