Yeah not sure I’d want them to do it at Chamber either. It should be done at a big PPV that is built up for a bit. MITB or Summerslam are the next events that would make sense.

At this point if they changed it they would only REALLY piss off the people who do just wanna see the rock by any means necessary. Which isn't us on here but that crowd was going nuts for him and they might in Philadelphia too. There is no way out of this that improves on the story being told, if anything backing out now would be somehow even dumber. This is an all time idiotic decision. Perhaps that's expecting the bare minimum out of a wrestling promotion, but this is a long way from the doldrums of Pandemic-era WWE (the egg, zombies eating Miz and Morrison, Retribution, Raw Underground etc).

No booker ever bats 1.000, and HHH (along with possibly Dwayne) proved it tonight. They made me feel like a complete mark for believing in Cody.

Agreed on how much better it has been and about the not batting 1.000 thing. HHH just made the biggest, easiest out possible though.

Even if that is exactly where it goes, that still makes Cody look like a loser idiot who can't fight his own battles and is passing on the biggest opportunity in his life for no reason. There is no salvaging this shit.
