Faintly hilarious article about this on the BBC news site: www.bbc.co.uk/news/newsbeat-65480741She evidently is trying to get her family involved in this somehow. I'm sure they'll get the 'sit at ringside and wave' spot.

I really don't think we need 'Zak Zodiac' on the card. At ringside for a punch and possible hand raise at the most. Like I've said before, Im fine for a few outside names but I hope we arent engulfed with Brits on the card when AEW has a stacked roster of their own that could put on some delights. Happy for actual surprise debuts and run ins though by whoever!
You can now pick your seat individually on Ticketmaster!

You can now pick your seat individually on Ticketmaster! FFS. I hate Ticketmaster. Why couldn't they do that on the pre-sale? Or at least by section.

Had a quick look there and a lot of tickets in good sections are reserved for VIP/hotel packages that are more expensive. Not feeling as bad about purchasing early knowing that! Provided I can add in the fan fest and pre show party retrospectively I will be all good - still waiting to hear back from Ticketmaster on if that can be done.

So am I right in saying that much of the west side of the stadium isn't available for sale at this point?

So am I right in saying that much of the west side of the stadium isn't available for sale at this point? I guess they didnt want invidial selections as perhaps they were worried that entire sections wouldn't get sold initially and all the best seats would be bought imediately. Just a hunch. I think the 100 sections have been available. Though, looking at the individual plan now most of it looks booked when I don't think its actually been released yet. I mean its the hard cam side so they likely want to make sure everywhere else is sold out/packed first I guess. They've got to be past 60k now. it was 50k last night.. Edit: I see 131 to 135 are greyed out. Im not sure how much is needed for the cameras/sound guys etc.

Put me in the camp also of not wanting this to become a British wrestling tribute show. Going to be their biggest show ever by some way and one of the biggest, most influential wrestling shows ever full stop the way it's looking now, they need to keep laser focus on just doing what they do best rather than pandering too much to a crowd that just doesn't need it. The crowd will go nuts for Jamie etc but she's booked strong anyway, you don't need to do a lot different with her, and I'd bet anything these will be people who love AEW more than they love British wrestling. While I don't think a Jamie - Saraya match would be brilliant for the latter, it's like the only possible match where she'd get less cheers, I'd still be fine with it as it at least makes sense, we haven't had the match yet and they're two of the biggest stars in the division, and I'd 100% book Ospreay as he's like top 5 in the world and is English, no brainer to have him there, but I'm not a huge fan of the idea of things like Kip winning a belt or something when he's rarely been portrayed at that level, this is their big show, not just their big British show. They need to find a healthy balance between going OTT with the British stuff (please no f***ing phone box props btw) and not going full WWE and having all the British wrestlers lose (which I'm certain they won't as it isn't their style).
Absolutely buzzing for it because I trust AEW completely to book it right.

I agree I don't want this to be a British-themed show with British winners. It's supposed to be a canon show for AEW and Americans will also be watching. I think Ospreay makes sense since he's done a lot in AEW anyway, but I don't want to have Jamie's match wasted on Saraya when she could have Mercedes or somebody else instead.

Yeah I have to say, while this is a big enough event that I'll basically be marking out throughout more or less regardless, it doesn't have to be the British talent win everything show. Kip's been pretty badly used through his whole run, so no real interest. I'd love to see Jamie Hayter, having been a fan of hers going back to the indies, though. And PAC would obviously be nice.
But I honestly don't need to see William Ostrich.

Seriously though Ogogo is like a prime example, clearly not good enough to be booked now so shouldn't be booked for this, I hope to christ they don't book him on this because he's British when they should be putting on their best show possible given the size of the event. As I say I have faith but Americans sometimes have a strange idea of what British crowds want at times, the WWF using all the English slang on commentary used to utterly cringe me out on PPV's like Rebellion.

When Bruce Springsteen plays in the UK, he doesn't ditch his set to play a load of covers by British bands. Fans over here want to see stars, not people they share a nationality with.

Will Ospreay needs to be there, even if it's in a battle royal!

I reckon Ospreay gets a big match, for me he's like the exception rather than the rule, I'd also be pretty much doing anything I could to give him his moment in the hope he might one day actually sign for AEW 🤣 The Battle Royale thing could work for getting some British guys on the show though, and I wouldn't really mind if one of them even won it, if they stack the show which they likely will that could be a good way to have a bit of a cool down. Suppose it could also be on a pre show assuming they do one. I think they'll be tempted to do a big multi man like that regardless just to get plenty of people on their own roster on the show.

Can we get Jeff Jarrett to do an extremely lengthy Noel's House Party riff. Someone find a Blobby suit that will fit Satnam Singh.

Agreed. Im happy for Ospray. I know hes good but I cant honestly say I've never followed him. But on Wembley's official website originally they had all British stars listed, including Ogogo. - I hope it was just placeholder text.

If you take the scummy platinum tickets and packages out there's basically only tickets at the back of the top tier opposite the ramp and corners still available.
