I don’t think Roman is gonna lose the titles till Mania 40 but they need a marquee match so I’m thinking Roman vs. Seth

I'm personally hoping Cody wins his feud with Brock, wins MITB then announces he's cashing in at Summerslam and beats Roman this time. Roman will have passed 1000 days by that point and Summerslam 2020 was the show he returned on and went heel so his downfall happening on the same show works. For Cody's sake I hope I'm right and they don't try stretch it all the way to Wrestlemania.
If not that then maybe Roman/Randy if Randy is back in time. That was supposed to be the Summerslam main event last year.
Maybe an Edge retirement match. Wasn't there talk recently that's he's retiring this summer?
Summerslam is still the only big 4 show not to have a women's main event. I don't think Becky/Trish would main event. It would probably have to be Rhea/Bianca.

Cody/Roman II. Outside prediction- If Rock is available... he will help Roman finally lose the title to Cody to set up their NON-TITLE Mania 40 main event. I think that's what they are waiting for.

Cody vs. Roman II: if Roman wins, Cody can never challenge for the world title ever, even if Roman eventually drops the titles.
Cody finally f***ing wins.

My guess is Roman vs. Cody and Roman wins again. If Orton's back by then then possibly him instead.

Roman vs. Brock. It always comes back to Roman vs. Brock. It's all Vince knows anymore.

I agree he should drop it at Summerslam, but then Mania 40 (which is a landmark mania) would feel like an afterthought and i would think they would want a big moment for that

You can still have marquee matches for the show if Roman’s reign ends prior.

You can still have marquee matches for the show if Roman’s reign ends prior. I mean part of the problem with Roman’s reign is that they made everyone else on the roster inferior in the last 3 years. Seth, Lashley, Drew ect are big stars but they feel like nothing compared to Roman.

You're all wrong, Roman drops it to Cody at the Saudi show and through a series of events the Summerslam main event somehow becomes Otis vs Trick Williams.

Summerslam is on the 5th and Roman won the belt on the 30th at Payback, so I'm fully expecting a retention and carry all the way through to 'Mania 40 so they can do the whole "3 years with the longest reign ending at the biggest 'Mania' horseshit nobody is asking for. They really just can't resist milestones with this reign.

Yeah I think the way it will be set up is Jey is the first to leave, then Jimmy, then have Solo vs Roman at the Rumble and at Mania, it’s just Roman vs Cody one on one
