It’s going to be Vegas at the Raiders stadium is my guess.

The Hilton hotel nearest to Vikings Stadium is booked for WM week: Ivar winning the Rumble confirmed!

And cold shouldnt be a problem in Minny. US Bank has a roof! The thumping of birds into the stadium would get distracting

I'm still surprised that it's almost the end of the month and we have no idea where WrestleMania is. Like, it's not a massive thing at all, it just feels weird after a tradition of them hyping up the next WrestleMania during WM itself.

Is this the first time in a while where next year’s WrestleMania wasn’t locked down before or during the present one? Because it’s weird it hasn’t been confirmed yet. I want to say that Wrestlemania VI's location wasn't known by Wrestlemania V - but I may be misremembering. Was the Hartford Civic Center known by Wrestlemania X? I haven't done a '94 or '95 rewatch so I could see it maybe being one of those two years as the most recent time. But for sure from 13 onward at the very least we knew it *by* Mania.

In another FU to Vince, Trips is rushing to book the Los Angeles Coliseum and actually sell out

I read a rumor somewhere that they were considering Milwaukee (Miller Park, or whatever corporate sponsor has naming rights now for the ballpark) for the Royal Rumble. I wonder if that would mean no to Mania being in Minnesota just a couple months later?

No, don't be silly, that'd be wrongly suited. Supreme Leader Chad Gable vs. American Nightmare Cody Rhodes, clearly!

I was going to ask what you asked in a previous post, about when the last time they went past a mania without announcing next years site. Recently there’s been a video package or big sell from Michael Cole and all that stuff. Nothing like that this year. I wonder if cities are low balling them on a site fee, as it might not look good for cities spending money on a wrestling event.

I’m honestly amazed more cities aren’t falling all over themselves to host WrestleMania after seeing what a boon it was for Philadelphia this past year. WrestleMania week brings in hundreds of thousands of tourists from all across the world; fills hotels, restaurants, bars, and convention centers; and provides six to seven days of activities for an audience that won’t hesitate to spend cash.

I think several cities put in bids to host WM every year.

It felt like MIN was a lock before the Vince scandal implicated Brock in those obscene texts. There was a rumor about it being for his retirement match/HOF. I wonder if nixing or delaying that is part of the delay? Idk what else it could be.

WM11’s location was confirmed by Dec.94. I remember getting a letter from WWE Magazine that revealed it. The announcement in the magazine followed a month or so thereafter.

That’s crazy long time from the Rumble till Mania but it’s their hottest time of the year might as well milk it for all it’s worth.
