Here are my Raw Thoughts:
Cool recap of the Draft Night 1.
Triple H's opening promo was good explaining that Brock Lesnar negotiated a deal to be a Free Agent instead of being drafted, but him being on the same level as Mustafa Ali, Omos, Von Wagner, & Dolph Ziggler is hilarious.
1st ROUND DRAFT THOUGHTS: Rhea Ripley & Austin Theory made sense as Bianca Belair & GUNTHER switched brands. So when are Bianca & Rhea going to "switch titles?" Seth Rollins & Charlotte Flair aren't going anywhere so no change there.
Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez VS Damage CTRL was a great match. I don't mind a Women's Tag Title Match between them in the future. BTW, it was Morgan & Rodriguez's 1st loss since they lost the 4-Way Match at WrestleMania, Bayley's 1st win since she defeated Mia Yim on Raw on January 9, & was Dakota Kai's 1st win since she & IYO SKY defeated Mia & Becky Lynch on January 3.
2nd ROUND DRAFT THOUGHTS: That was a waste of time. Besides Sami Zayn moving to Raw, no one else moved. What's the point of The Usos being drafted separately if they're going to on Smackdown with Roman Reigns & Solo Sikoa. The Judgment Day & The LWO are staying put, but what's good about that is if Zelina defeats Rhea Ripley at Backlash, the Smackdown Women's Championship will stay on Smackdown. Also does it really matter that Owens & Zayn were drafted. They're the Undisputed Tag Team Champions. They are allowed to be on both shows.
Ricochet & Braun Strowman VS The Alpha Academy was short, but fun.
Good recap of Bad Bunny & Damian Priest.
I love Brock Lesnar interrupting Shawn Michaels & Adam Pearce's Draft picks.
Good segment between Cody Rhodes & Brock Lesnar to continue their build for Saturday.
3rd ROUND DRAFT THOUGHTS: Besides Asuka moving to Smackdown & The New Day going to Raw, everything else stays the same. Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez are the Women's Tag Champs, so they can be on both shows & The Brawling Brutes are staying on SD.
Matt Riddle VS Jimmy Uso was a good match. Riddle needed a singles win since coming back. Looking forward to the 6-Man Tag at Backlash.
Nice video on IYO SKY. Bianca Belair VS IYO SKY will be great. I was not expecting Eric Bischoff & it's great to see RVD again. Hopefully, his card will be in the right direction tonight. Weird cameo by Rick Boogs & Elias.
Good segment with Paul Heyman & Solo Sikoa. Interesting tension with Solo & Jey Uso.
4th ROUND DRAFT THOUGHTS: Besides Shayna Baszler & Ronda Rousey going to Raw, Trish Stratus is staying on Raw, & Karrion Kross & LA Knight are staying on Smackdown.
Stupid segment with The Miz & Shinsuke Nakamura. And WWE with their BS. Nakamura has been on Raw before. He lost a 5-Way on 9/23/19, he & Cesaro lost to The Street Profits on 9/14/20, he & Riddle def The Usos by DQ on 5/30/22 & he was in a Battle Royal on 6/27/22.
I said I wanted more wrestling on Raw but not a crappy Enhancement Match with Omos especially against a local talent. Use someone on the roster at least.
5th ROUND DRAFT THOUGHTS: Ricochet & Braun Strowman could be great on Raw. Bronson Reed & Shotzi are staying on the same brands so that means that Reed isn't winning the US Title at Backlash. Pretty Deadly deserve to move to Smackdown, but it was a stupid way for them to be written off NXT by them being thrown in the river.
Good promo by The Judgment Day. I just wished we had subtitles for what Priest said. How come in NXT when Imperium talked they had subtitles, but not here on Raw for Priest tonight & Bad Bunny last week? What heat for Dom. Good response by Rey Mysterio & The LWO.
The LWO VS The Judgment Day was awesome. I'll do my research another time for Mixed Tags, but it is the 1st ever Mixed Tag to feature a Father VS Son. But give The LWO a win already.
Great Cody Rhodes promo, but couldn't they have done it somewhere else, not in front of the truck with an old picture of Triple H.
Good segment with Bianca Belair & Damage CTRL.
6th ROUND DRAFT THOUGHTS: Yes, Kayden Carter & Katana Chance are finally being moved up & going to Raw, so no matter what happens tomorrow, the NXT Women's Tag Champs are out of NXT. The Alpha Academy are staying on Raw. Rick Boogs is going to SD, so there goes him & Shinsuke Nakamura being reunited. I miss Cameron Grimes, so I'm happy that he's moving up. He will be awesome on Smackdown.
Seth Rollins VS Solo Sikoa was incredible. I could have done without the DQ. But if they had to do one, then Omos should have interfered to bring heat to his feud with Rollins for their match at Backlash. Fun brawl to close out the show.
