Don’t Cry and Don’t Cry (Alt. Lyrics) are very similar.

Given its coronation day, Zadok The Priest is incredibly similar to the Champions League Theme

Aqua's "Roses Are Red" and "Candyman" sound enough alike. And they're both on the same album!

Lard's Mate Spawn and Die just straight up apes the riff of Holiday in Cambodia.

I've been a musician and songwriter my entire life, and generally notice when songs sound similar, especially since a big part of my work has involved putting together medleys.
That said, I will never, ever understand why anyone thinks that the Ed Sheeran tune and the Marvin Gaye tune sound alike. The chord progressions are the same, but the feel and melodies are so different that you don't even really notice the chord progression similarities.

The intro to the Buffy The Vampire Slayer theme and the intro to The Offspring's "The Kinds Aren't Alright" sound like exactly the same. Good to know I’m not crazy

Suicidal Tendencies's I Saw Your Mommy and Puddle of Mudd's She Hates Me have the exact same riff.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned these two. I remember getting "Fight Song" by Rachel Platten and "Heartbeat Song" by Kelly Clarkson mixed up. They came out around the same time during the mid-2010s.

Mary Janes Last Dance by Tom Petty and Waiting For The Sun by The Jayhawks The Palace Of The King Of The Birds by The Beatles and the Top Gun theme Speaking of medleys I have put together! Mary Jane's Last Dance, Dani California, and Little Black Submarines by the Black Keys are all basically the same song and make a really easy medley.

"Beg, Borrow, and Steal" by the Rare Breed blatantly rips off the guitar riff from "Louie, Louie" by the Kingsmen.
"Knights of Cydonia" by Muse deliberately sounds like "Telstar" by the Tornados as a tribute to Matt Bellamy's dad, who played guitar for the Tornados.

The guitar riff for "Connection" by Elastica was shamelessly stolen from "Three Girl Rhumba" by Wire.

"Waterfalls" and "It's Still Rock and Roll to Me?" Same song. Same exact song.

Suicidal Tendencies's I Saw Your Mommy and Puddle of Mudd's She Hates Me have the exact same riff. So does Dumb by Nirvana

"Waterfalls" and "It's Still Rock and Roll to Me?" Same song. Same exact song. Never did I think about this. But after reading the post...man, you're dead on.

I didn't know either of these songs but this is the most blatant rip-off I've ever heard.

I can definitely hear a similarity between "Ghostbusters" and "I Want a New Drug," but not nearly enough that the latter should have won that plagiarism case. I am aware that the montage scenes used the Huey Lewis song as a placeholder during production, but they're totally different riffs.
