I reckon it’s a flip of a coin between Sky and Rodriguez for the MITB briefcase. That’s assuming either are in the match, but it would seem highly likely that would be the case. The fact that Sky’s qualifier is against Shotzi would normally give pause because that would normally be Shotzi’s wheelhouse, but the fact that the poor bugger just hasn’t put it together in any featured match since the last Money In The Bank at least puts paid to that. Yeah. Shotzi is uh...not great. I dunno what it is, but she's still incredibly not good. She has lots of energy but just...can't put it together in the ring. I also can't imagine both Bayley and Iyo being out of the match, and I think Michin is more likely to get in than Bayley is, especially since they've been telling a story of Bayley not being able to get a win and always costing her team the victory. Shotzi also has pretty much negative levels of credibility, having only won 7 of her 19 matches this year. I think maybe Shotzi would have gotten in if she was up against Bayley, but against Iyo? Not so much, especially since Iyo is the more protected of the two when it comes to Damage CTRL right now. I wouldn't be shocked if they give Raquel the case either, but she suffers from having zero charisma and has some of the most apathetic crowd reactions of any woman on the roster (a friend joked about how she's the coldest hot tag in modern WWE history). I feel like she's ill suited to be a main focal point of the division, as she feels more like someone who should just be a heavy for a cowardly heel at most. It feels like the only person backstage who is actually even remotely high on her is Triple H, but he had this same problem in NXT as well.

I'd like to see Raquel be Cora Jade's heavy when Cora makes it to the main roster. Diesel to her HBK.

Apparently, according to Joshi City's Kevin, IYO SKY vs. Asuka happened at a live event last August. Link to review included.

Considering Mio has fallen down the extreme right wing rabbit hole, probably not the best idea. KAIRI is more likely as she has history with both Asuka and Iyo, and is open for a short stint in WWE. She is also on good terms with everyone in WWE management and executives.

They need to bring back KAIRI for this.
Like if they are not ready to have IYO take it from Asuka just yet , have Bayley screw her out of the title and her and Asuka temporarly unite against IYO who after a month or so of trying to do this on her own gets help in the form of KAIRI coming back to reunite the sky pirates.
You can use this to also book end the Kabuki Warriors where Asuka tries to mind game KAIRI about how well the Kabuki Warriors were and how they were tag champs and try and sway her to her side but then KAIRI rejects her and Asuka loses her shit and talks about she is glad Bayley retired her etc.
There is so much to mine between IYO , BAYLEY AND ASUKA ..between not just themselves but then you involve MIO and KAIRI , there is just so much story that could literally carry this untill next summer so I hope HHH does not half ass this.

With Asuka (the Champion!) playing third wheel in a feud with Super Bianca and Charlotte Wins lol, I have a strong suspicion that WWE Joshi Christmas will not be happening I have trouble seeing how WWE would have Asuka walk out of a program with those two and still be champion. Nor do I see them dedicating any sort of importance to an IYO vs Asuka non-title feud. Maybe after Charlotte breaks 16 she'll go away or at least they can stop ruining the rest of the division for her no-one-but-her-Ric-HHH-and-Vince-cares stat-padding.

Yep I feel the same,I just can't see it happening, both are heels now for one thing and with Asuka more then likely dropping the title soon to one of Charlotte or Bianca there's no chance for a big title match between the two.Iyo just seems like Bayley Lackey now with Dakota out, there doesn't seem to be any real reason for them to have a match anytime soon really.
