I'm at the point where any phrase I don't recognize I just assume was made by either black/queer twitter or white nationalists. Or made by black/queer twitter and appropriated by white nationalists.

One of my favorite things of the past decade was watching the people who coined the term "on fleek" get bored and stop using it before white people actually had the chance to ruin it.

my biggest problem with stan is people using it positively to describe themselves... it's a reference to an overly obsessive fan that kills his pregnant girlfriend... it's not really something you should happily refer to yourself as. I just hate that it's used to invalidate a person's opinion... "you don't believe that, you're just a stan." WWE stans. AEW stans. Star Wars stans. Star Trek stans. Marvel stans. DC stans. You can't like something on your own, you're just saying it because you're not strong enough break away from the rest of the fanbase, you only 'like' it because 'they' like it.

The word "Legend" gets thrown around in the wrestling business so much that it just basically means "retired wrestler" now. Even 'retired' is overused in wrestling and basically means 'part timer'

I can't escape it either. I block the channels because it's obvious from the thumbnails alone they have nothing good or interesting or thoughtful to say, but it gets promoted much more aggressively than anything I could like. Testing out a theory,do you have YT Premium? Before I got it YT would for a bit spam my feed with vids on subjects I dont give two f***s about. For example there is one retro video game based guy I just dont like so told yT to stop recommending his videos. Few weeks later another shows up. This would go on and on. Got YT Premium and haven't had that issue since. In fact, I haven't. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}That would be terrible if the software wanted to show me the hindmost crap just because I don't pay. I would understand if the recommendation algorithm was less personalised, but "less personalised" and "here's the latest backyard demagogue" are two different calibres. But it's quite possible that I'm making the mistake: Before I block the channel as such, I often get an overview of its titles and thumbnails. In practically all cases, I then realise that every video is the same drivel. But YouTube may look at the click I've made on the channel and not at the fact that I've blocked it afterwards.

This begins and ends for me with: Woke
1. It's not the insult people think it is and 2. It's actually more of a self-own, b/c what are you saying about yourself?
Edit: OH, and this is a bit older, but I had to stop watching RuPaul's Drag Race b/c every single f***ing person was "I'm serving up some ______ realness". I couldn't take it anymore.

AI is getting up there for me.
Cause what they are calling AI is not in any way what anyone would actually call Artificial Intelligence.
