Impressive number against some good competition (Knicks game, Vanderpump, political thing).
Demo only slightly down from last year (0.33 to 0.32) and viewership actually up a bit year over year.

They weren't up against an absolutely stacked lineup compared to last week, so not surprised the rating went up.

Pretty good given the competition. NBA, and NHL, and even THAT town hall as well.
Anna and Julia=Ratings.

All that is truly up here are the foolish helium-filled hopes of fools. Hold these numbers tight to your heart, for they are but passing triviality, a novelty of passing whims and luck that shan't hold any stronger than morning dewdrops upon a spider's web, and just as all it takes is one swing of a hand to break such a fragile construction, all Tony Khan's fragile ego and the house of cards it built will need is a swing of another hand. The hand of fate, coming to prove what a failure this truly is all is. A vainglorious waste of time and money that simply saps energy and hope from the fools who wish to see it succeed. Tony Khan is but an energy vampire preying on you to uplift his own ego, and you call him a hero as his day of reckoning fast approaches.

Really happy to see the rise, especially against really tough competition still throughout Wednesday
Hopefully they can keep this up because next weeks set to be a really big week for them!

Very nice, promote a match people want to see and they’ll stick around (and then some) for the main event.

I love how sometimes a segment that's like 50% The Elite and 50% Tim The Hobo vs. Dougie Jobz will lose 30k viewers and a few people will go "SEE? SEE? THE ELITE AREN'T DRAWS! AHA! AHA!" because then this week's chart is just. So blatantly on its face a good sign that yes, Moxley vs. Kenny was a big match and a big ratings deal people wanted to watch. Which shouldn't need to be restated probably? But.

Sure, they brought in 95,000 more viewers, but only 28,000 were in the key demo so they still don't draw. #MoreLikeBeingTheELAMEAmIRight

The last quarter (excluding an overrun) of any wrestling show in any company being the highest rated is really, really rare. Seems people wanted to see Mox and Kenny kill each other in a cage. I hope they liked it because the match delivered, IMO.
Actually, wasn't one of the other big AEW rating hits of the year the Omega vs Vikingo main event? Does twice equal a pattern yet?

Some of y'all thinking Anna and Julia = ratings when you know it's really the sexy dancing from Daniel Garcia that does it. And also maybe a bit from Moxley and Omega

It feels like things are about to pick back up again after a couple months of the product being "only" decent.

The rise in viewership lines up pretty much exactly with when the Knicks/Heat game ended

I can't remember the last time that the main event segments did highest viewership and among the highest in demo. Usually it slides down even without much competition.

Was a pretty strong show overall, stayed almost completely even with what it started with viewer wise right till the main where it jumped
I would not be shocked if by the end of the show they had a million in the minute by minute for the cage match
