As much as a cantankerous bitter old man as he became, you can't deny his influence on pro wrestling not just as entertainment, but as an artform.
RIP to a real pioneer.

Without Graham there would be no Hogan, Savage, Ventura, Rude, DDP, Miz, Jericho, and others who borrowed from him. RIP Superstar.

He had a huge and lasting impact on the wrestling business because he was a much different heel than anybody else in the business at the time and it influenced many other heels that came after him. His legacy will be complicated because of some of the stuff he said in hid later years. None the less, best wishes to his family and friends for their loss.

My favorite match of all time is the very first Dusty Rhodes vs Billy Graham MSG match.
He leaves behind a very complicated legacy.

R.I.P. Superstar Billy Graham. My earliest memories of him are his 1986 comeback. This now means that Bob Backlund is the earliest WWE champion still living. I actually saw Billy Graham during that comeback….he fought Rick Rude at a house show in Sacramento.

Like the guy or not, there is no denying he has left his mark in the industry.
R.I.P.
I believe it has already been mention but with Billy Graham gone, Bob Backlund is now the earliest WWF/E champion that is still alive today.

One of the few people who could have honestly said, "More people ripped off me than the Road Warriors" in wrestling. He was virtually an archetype.
Having the ball taken away from him when he was the biggest start in wrestling because Vincent J. McMahon had already made up his mind remains one of the biggest "what ifs" in wrestling that don't involve injury or death, and unfortunately, part of why is because it seemed to have seriously damaged his mental health.

Schiavone sounded very choked up and distracted during his segments on Dynamite, I guess they were friends or at least knew each other well. He to Hogan & Flair was basically Elvis to the Beatles & Stones the latter having a bigger range both nationally and internationally but they couldn't have done it without the OG.

One of the biggest influences, and biggest assholes, in the history of the business.
I hope that he somehow finds the peace he never did when he was alive.

Hulk Hogan, the biggest star in wrestling history pretty much ripped off Superstar’s entire gimmick and presentation.
Billy Graham is one of the most influential people in wrestling history.

Definitely part of wrestling's Mount Rushmore. The personae, the style, the look, the attitude. Often imitated, NEVER duplicated.

RIP Karate Master! This never fails to make me laugh!!!! LOL RIP to the Superstar! I know over the years he's said a lot of crazy and controversial things, but the guy was ABSOLUTELY a trendsetter and someone I wish I could've seen in his prime. I still love watching his promos on Youtube.
