The announcment of this so-called 'Collision' is so tragically ironic, for a collision implies an impact. A noise. An event. All I see is emptiness. A desert of apathy and creative decline whose every last shred of life whines its passing death rattle under the sun ready to bake its remains and reduce all there is across its sands to dust. No civilizations consumed by the eroding winds. No empty monument. AEW shall not even be the kingdom of Ozymandias left with a bold declaration of its own ruin left ravaged by time. Not one single trace shall remain of this All Elite Wrestling to regard it. Nor to mourn it. Only bones will remain, picked at by vultures, unrecognized and unexamined, deemed to be of so little importance that no archaeologist would even deign to examine it. No collision; simply the spiral into a slow demise that cannot cast even a moment's impact with its final breath.

The end is nigh.

They've always looked stupid tbh, they just look y'know, somehow stupider Reddit has gone ridiculously into the “AEW can do nothing right, TK is a clown” direction recently. Tony Khan also used Cagematch ratings as to why the last 2 show's have been good, so they're not far off.

Also Jaylen Brown and Cody Zeller literally went Mask vs. Mask last night, that's basically 70 Vanderpumps. I will not let this get no-sold 😂

The last two shows were pretty good though, even FAN here has rated them pretty well But he's using metrics that's don't make sense. Cagematch is completely biased toward AEW, there's no victory lap by saying they reviewed the shows well. Remember when it was "Thanks to the 1 million fans who tuned in this week," now it's "this biased as hell website validates my booking." It reeks of desperation, even Reddit is ripping him apart for it.

I think a guy who marks out over match quality leaning on a website that rates matches as a sign his show is being well received makes absolute sense. The internal logic there is totally consistent.

Not true at all, Cagematch has rated AEW shows low before, and this is a website that reviews basically all wrestling and can be pretty hard on it at times, if a review site likes the shows that's not a terrible thing to cite. If you wanna call something "Biased towards AEW" maybe you should cite Reddit given how bloodthirsty they are to clown Khan over any little thing, like this.

Raw lost viewers yet their demo was strong, shows you that viewers dont matter much these days(even though Raw didnt face the NBA this week), NXT did and(like Dynamite) also went down.
Oh and Cagematch in 2023 isnt bias toward AEW lol

And a respected wrestling website which complies the opinion of wrestling fans has rated the last couple of shows highly. Reddit is ripping him apart for it because the line between squaredcircle and scjerk has become increasingly blurry the last few months, largely because of all the CM Punk shit.

They’ve sold 60,000+ tickets to All In with not a single match being announced. They likely got a big increase on their new TV deal. Etc. So I’m not seeing how TK is wrong here? It doesn’t help that those same people act like WWE is doing nothing but genius feuds and storylines right now. Which is not the case.

Highest demo went to the Jarrett crew segment, Roddy/Jericho and perhaps the final 5 mins with the Elite/Callis.
Tony Khan isn't ready brother.

But it's literally a site that any person can sign up to and rate matches on. It's not biased for or against anything. It just means that the people who take the time to join a website like that and rate matches like AEW (well, they like Japanese wrestling more but that doesn't fit into the story) If you don't agree with the ratings, sign up yourself.

I just think it's bizarre that, of all things, that's being latched onto as the biggest point of criticism of Tony Khan currently by a bunch of extraordinarily biased WWE fans. I enjoy WWE on its own merits too, and am not trying to be tribalistic, but WWE has spent the better part of the last decade trying to convince the world that it is more popular than the NBA, MLB, and NFL because of some nebulous metric called "social engagement." What was Khan supposed to tweet? "Ah damn, it seems my company has sort of leveled out at its floor of 800k viewers. We'll see how things go when the NHL and NBA playoffs end. But, please be aware, the MLB is still going on and NCAA Football games are sometimes on Wednesday nights so don't get your hopes too high!"
